Great colour and conditioning, shame about the strong smell!
I used this a week after bleaching to tone down brassy tones in my lightish blonde hair, and it has definitely worked! I didn't go the shade of the model on the box (probably because I had too many orange tones) but I'm still pleased with the result in terms of not being quite such a vibrant warm blonde shade! I wanted to lift my colour slightly as well, and this did lift it probably about a shade and a half (I didn't want to bleach my hair again to avoid damage, and thought it better to just lift to the level I want gradually with box dyes now, since I'm so close to my target colour and all). It was easy enough to use, despite the pack not coming with a bottle, since I just mixed the developer sachet and colour cream up in a plastic tub and then applied it by what I call the "squidge method" (ie, just plaster it on and squidge it into the roots - it worked anyway!) It was a nice creamy formula, but very strong smelling - the smell reminded me of L'Oreal Recital which I try to avoid nowadays because it has such a strong ammonia smell and can make my scalp feel a little tender - this dye has had the same effect, and it's only for this reason that I haven't given it a full 5 stars. It's basically good value for money I reckon, and left my hair feeling quite nice. The little packet of conditioner struck me as rather too meagre and thin to really have any effect when I first poured it out and applied it, but it turns out that it's one of those ones which actually make your hair feel fabulous once it's rinsed out, despite it's rather unimpressive texture. I'm not sure I'd use this dye again myself (I think i might need ammonia free colourants nowadays really), but it's definitely not a fail IMO, and gave a nice even colour. You get a fair amount of product in the pack too (it was difficult to gauge initially because the packs have grams rather than mls on them), so I bought two packs to be on the safe side - I did open them both as a matter of course and the two together were more than enough to give a really generous application on my shoulder length hair (you get about twice as much as in, say, a Mellor and Russell box dye which only really has enough to cover the hair of a pixie!) I've just done the colour this morning, so can't comment on its staying-power, but will update on that in future.

Beautiful ash blonde
The colour advertised on the box isnt quite the finished product you'll get after rinsing. However I was left with a gorgeous ash blonde instead which I prefer to be honest and for the price I paid it's really good value it's not fading as quick as your average hair colourant.

You will need a dish and brush
This is a cream you would put in a dish and brush on, this was to do my daughters hair, luckily she had a bottle of a previous brand, so we emptied the cream into that and was very easy, colour was lovely
