I am by no means an expert with fountain pens; however, I've owned 4 in the past year and this one of BY FAR the best I've used so far, all were basic $40 or less range. I've had trouble getting ink to start flowing on my first 3, either way too much or no ink flow at all. This one is responsive and I love the transperent shell to be able to see your ink. I have small/medium sized hands, this pen feels like the perfect size for me, others I've used felt too clunky/long. I'm also a lefty, not sure how much of a deal this makes but for any fellow South paws out there this was a great buy for me!

These are very substantial, well balanced, and well made. The body holds a great deal of ink so I can travel with it without worry of running out. Also the nib writes smoothly with very little tooth gnashing scritch scratch. Three things detract from perfection: 1. The cap can't be attached to the end of pen so you have to set it down leading to potential loss especially because 2. There's no pen clip so you can't attach the pen to a pen loop or pocket and 3. The perfect smooth roundness of the entire pen leads to roll roll rolling away... I love the pen's performance but having to mind the cap and fear of both cap and pen rolling away if I set them down negatively detract from the pleasure of writing and drawing with it.

Great pen, glides across the paper. Only beef with this pen is the size. I should preface with the fact that I have large hands. That being said, the pen, without a posted cap, is small in my hands. So the obvious solution is pop that bad boy on. It posts securely enough, but is wobbly enough that if you are a flail writer that cap may wiggle on yah. Small gripe that does not stop me from recommending it, giving it 5 stars and filling it with my deep Iroshizuku Momiji Red ink. Makes it pop.

Credit where credit is due. This is a cheap pen, yes, but there's a lot of little things, little details that they got right that makes this a great but for the price. I check all my fountain pens under a loupe when I get them and this one had good nib alignment right out of the box, which isn't something that can be said about my experience with significantly more expensive pens. It writes decently, large ink capacity, and it looks really neat. I think if moonman wanted they could easily start using larger and gold nibs, maybe some better quality acrylics and start competing at a higher price point.

I love how this pen looks and that I can mix two different bulletproof inks in it and see the color. Writes well, no leaking. Probably the only drawback for me is that there red circle fell off and won't stay back on, didn't affect function, but the asthetics are just not as good without it. I also prefer a medium or larger nib but it was less expensive to buy the fine at the time of my purchase. Wish I would have spent the extra few bucks but that's on me.

In my opinion the pen looks horrible. But it is so functional!! I love this pen and it is my everyday pen because it is a fountain pen and writes pretty well (no scratchiness with mine as mentioned in other reviews) AND i can load it without getting ink all over my fingers. I was looking for the function this pen has, and I have not identified another pen with this.

Lovely pen. It works wonderfully. The type of ink makes a difference, too. I find that it does dribble when it's almost empty. If you fill it when it's half or two thirds empty, it won't happen. It's just because it's got a large reservoir and no cartridge.

Beautiful pen. Well machined and polished. No problem with cap cracking, I do not force posting. As usual with new pens they need tuning. Increase flow and nib smoothing. Fine nibs from China need this. First tried Waterman Serenity Blue, found needed more lubrication, so in went Diamine Skull and Roses. Yep. Love the pen. Get yours for a few dollars less. No difference. Comfortable to hold. Good figet pen.
