Aladdin: The Magic Name in Lamps

The book is very informative and it covers all years of aladdin lamps. As a dealer collector it gives great base knowledge.

You'll need a magnifying glass to see some of the tiny old ads, but this is the only source I know of to really see the history of Aladdin. It's an extremely interesting book and a great reference to figure out years and model numbers. Highly recommended for any Aladdin enthusiast.

Excellent introduction and reference on Aladdin lamps. The company history is interesting, but a lot has happened since the book was written in 1997. (Aladdin Industries is now a trade name owned by others and no longer does any manufacturing, but the mantle lamp division lives on in Clarksville, TN as a separate company).

Was very lucky to find this book from the used for sale section. If you collect Aladdin Lamps this is your Bible of the how to's, when made and fakes revealed. Highly recommend if you can find 1. Was a Christmas gift to my Mother who had been looking for 10 yrs to purchase this book. Now out of print.

A book any Aladdin collector must have. Courters third printing 1974 , just wets the taste buds, a must have book also.
