Starting a Cake Decorating Business from Home

I don't really have any business knowledge at all, and was eager to find a book that explained it all well and in simple enough terms to follow.When I read through the book I found it has a good flow to it so you don't have to keep checking back to previous pages etc, and it has clear pictures of example forms as a guide.At the minute I am only making cakes for a few people/ events a year but with this book I believe it will help me get/ do more with what I've already got.I think this book is great and will assist anyone with the urge to start up a home business.

Good book. I bought it for my wife who makes excellent cakes. She thought of starting up a business so I got this book as a surprise. It's a straight forward read with lots of tips on how to run your cake making business.

An absolutely superb book. If you are interested in setting up a cake decorating, or a cake baking business then this is the book for you. Absolutely super - it goes through everything you need to think about (from how to actually make a profit to how to market your cakes).

This book is packed full of all that you need to know about setting up your own cake business. Although I am only thinking about it right now it was great to see ahead what is required. Very useful section on templates and what to charge for your cakes.

I bought this book, along with  Start A Cake Business From Home: How To Make Money from your Handmade Celebration Cakes, Cupcakes, Cake Pops and more! UK Edition.  for my sister as she's been talking about setting up her own cake company for some time. This one was OK,a nice easy read, and had some nice photos and covered many of the basic things to consider, but I found the other one much more detailed and thorough and a lot more up to date ( covering things like websites, using social media, how to market and promote your business etc). My sister agreed and found both helfpul, and she's now in the process of getting approved by her local council.

Great for anyone wanting to start a cake business from home.Helps you to understand legal requirements and gives you tips to make things easier.
