Narrow seat, firm cushions, loose armrest hinges
I chose this chair because I liked its blue, almost denim color and its design of overstuffed headrest and back support cushions. I still like it but I would have chosen a different brand if I had known more about it. I guess that's why Amazon never will completely replace brick and mortar stores.I am short and stocky, 5'6" tall and weigh about 185lbs. Sitting normally in the chair, my feet don't touch the floor and the headrest hits me about the middle of my head, so pushes my head forward. Another issue is that I'm almost too big (fat) for the chair. I can't put my arms all the way down to my side because they don't fit. Since I'm too short for the chair, the armrests are about an inch too high to be comfortable for me to rest my arms on them. The cushions are firm, neither the seat, armrests nor the headrest give very much. I did read in previous reviews about this model having firm cushions, but I like firm mattresses so this isn't an issue for me. However the foot rest is almost flat, hardly any cushion there and I can feel the slats on my ankle. Despite having big door hinges on the armrests, the armrests don't feel sturdy. They shift easily from side to side and I have to consciously seat them on their base when closing them.I don't want to keep this chair but I'm hesitating to send it back because, after more than 3 weeks of disappointing delays and back and forth email, this is the second replacement chair the company has sent me. Yes that means this is the third chair; the first two chairs were damaged in shipping. I saw the delivery driver drop the first chair from his truck onto the street and then roll it end-over-end down my 30ft driveway and up onto my porch. Only then I noticed that the box is clearly marked, in big letters and pictures, "Fragile" and "two-man lift". In my green shirt photo you can see that chair's arms are twisted to the right; they didn't close correctly which left hard surfaces poking into my arms. That chair would also stall or drag slightly when reclining or resetting. After working with the vendor we came home two and half weeks later to find the second chair's box had been left most of the way down our driveway. The second chair's box was severely trashed; two sides of the huge box were so scraped we couldn't read some of the package lettering and two of the box's creases were so worn away, we could see the contents through them. Literally the only thing holding it together was tape. Once I cut the tape, the sides of box fell open like a Faberge egg. I didn't even bother with that chair, just taped it back up as best I could. The third chair's box was only "slightly" damaged. It had only a large, shallow gash on one side, like a pallet-jack had run into it. That chair is the one you see in my last two photos and seems to be OK. At this point I have zero confidence in buying more furniture on-line because the same shipping companies will be delivering anything I order.

Ideal but...
I bought this chair a year and half ago. It lasted the first year with no problem. But had started falling apart. Leg rest boards are broken, side arms aren't sturdy, and it feels like I can tip the whole thing over if I lean to the side. I originally bought it to sleep in after surgery. So it had served its duty. Now time to look for a new one.

Nice product
Good product, sturdy. Color is not what I would call navy. More dark teal, which I was pleased with. I felt it was a bit narrow for my larger furniture.

damaged in shipment
I removed back rest then the base noted in bottom of the box this pin. I thought what now. I put the back rest on then attached power cable. The first time I pressed the button the recliner reclined but crooked. I was at this point not happy. The pin had broke of so I put a block under the right front side. Now when I recline it was not crooked. That's a sorry solution after I paid over $450.00 dollars for this chair.

Very fast shipping very important to me
This is a very good chair I was a little disappointed with the headrest you need to put a pillow Under your head when you lay the chair all the way back it should of had more padded at your head to accommodate your neck & head without a pillow

Good chairs for the money
I was a little leery in purchasing these chairs, as there were no reviews at the time of purchase. However, rolling the dice on these paid off. I have 4 of the brown leather/vinyl chairs, and the quality is very good for a $288 theater chair. They are comfortable, and the power recline allows you to lean back and get the right amount of recline without it moving around like manual reclines. Set up was a very easy, as it comes in two sections and you just attach the back with no tools needed. If there is anything negative I could say about these chairs, it’s that you need a pillow behind your head to have a good tv viewing angle otherwise, you’re staring at the ceiling. One more note- these are not “wall hugger” chairs. They’ll need to be away from the wall to recline fully. No deduction in rating, as I knew this going in. Also, I bought one of those rug backers used to keep rugs from moving, cut it into pieces, and placed it under each chair. This keeps these fairly light chairs from sliding on our laminate floor. These are great for the money. Don’t expect luxury furniture store chairs at this price point and you’ll be just fine.

Material is poor quality.
Everything that touches material sticks and it shreds easily. Wish I could return it.

Great but need discount
My other review got deleted before I submitted. Ugh. Shorter version: 2 of 6 chairs have arrived. 1 is perfect. 1 looks like return that got sent to me. Foot print and scratches on control. Hoping other 4 are good. Would be fair to offer discount on the used chair. Really don’t feel like messing with returns on such a large item.Chair is good value. Kinda wobbly but not sure if this is normal for chairs like this.
