I have used TUDCA off and on for a while now for liver/gallbladder health/elevated liver enzymes. It has been the best supplement I have ever tried. (tried quite a few over the years). Right now I use it with minocycline for lyme. When possible, I take it on an empty stomach(500-1000mg). I can feel it working within an hour. I start to get a deep primal hunger (like I could eat a medium sized reindeer. or a case of soy burgers, whatever you're in to), increase in energy, mental clarity, etc. Taking it on an empty stomach can cause upset stomach from too much bile secretion. Well worth it in my opinion.

From a chemist’s perspective: this is one of the most potent antioxidants on the market, and for the price, probably THE best. Clinical studies have proven this supplemenr to be a holy grail of health. Yes, it’s amazing for your liver, but it’s also great for detoxing the body, enhances cognition, cleans the kidneys, treats ADD, helps significantly with chronic pain, etc. as for the results I have personally experienced, taking 1 capsule in the morning and one at night, you will notice more energy in just a matter of days. I honestly feel everyone, healthy or not, should be taking this supplement.

This seems to be the most pure tudca. My husband and I have both had gall bladder removed and he has fatty liver disease. Keeping our fingers crossed this will help regulate his liver enzymes. Great price.

I thought I'd try this brand of TUDCA, most brands are pricey & suggest 2 a day. With this brand you can take 1 per day, so might last longer unless I find I need to take 2 per day. Suggested dose is 1-3 per day, depending on your personal requirement.

I love this because its 500mg of medical graded tudca! Tudca does wonders for the liver. This seller is fast on shipping and stays true to the product quality. I use it for orals and it tudca kicks lethargy in the ass!

After 2 bottles of using the higher recommended dose my AST went from 159 to 51 and my ALT went from 440 to 124. I've since lowered my daily dose to 2 pills daily and have only been using the product for about a month total. Before starting it I was experiencing liver pain daily and with the product the pain lessened each day to not having had any for the last 2 weeks. I will continue to use this supplement for ongoing liver support.ETA: For those reviews stating this product doesn't taste or smell like other TUDCA products they have used, this pharmaceutical manufacturer explains that this product is the only medical grade TUDCA on the market, that TUDCA should be tasteless and odorless., and all other TUDCA products are supplemental grade. Supplemental grade is not pure, and they either have fillers or acetone is used in the production giving it an odor or bitter flavor.

I've been taking TUDCA for years and it has a specific texture and very bitter taste. The powder in these capsules is tasteless and has the texture of starch.Edit: I ran some tests on this suspiciously tasteless TUDCA and it is starch indeed. Anyone can do the starch test. All you need is a drop of iodine tincture, which you dissolve in a glass of water. The result should be a pale yellow solution. Now place a drop of this pale yellow solution on the powder from the capsule, and, if it is real TUDCA, the color should remain pale yellow. But in the presence of starch it will turn dark purple (google iodine test for starch if you need more info).Take a look at the picture. On the right is real TUDCA with the familiar bitter taste (from a reputable source). Note that the color remained pale yellow. On the left is this "highest quality TUDCA". As you can see by the change in color, it's pure starch. I believe it's rice flour. Considering that they claim there is no fillers in their product, there is no doubt that THIS IS A SCAM.The reason they have high ratings is because the bottle comes with an insert which promises 90% discount off your next purchase, if you leave a positive review within a week. I reported them to amazon back in May, but, apparently, they did nothing to this seller. They did refund me my $ though, but what a headache!And yet, look at their ratings. This is scary! The experience left me paranoid. I doubt I'll buy again from any of these small amazon sellers unless I am already very familiar with the product. Reporting this scam to amazon had no effect and positive reviews mean nothing. Buyer beware!
