The images made me believe these would be brass fittings, but price led me to believe otherwise. Their not brass - and believe their aluminum - but do work great. 3x male, 3x female and 6 clamps for $12... Considering they'll just lay along the fence line or in gardens along the property, they'll more than suffice.For the other review saying the images are photoshoped, this is the product I received... which matches what's in the description. And says "Hose Connector Aluminum body + Stainless Steel Clamp".Cheap price, non-invasive product to get a simple job done. Check.

I like the metal fitting. I have used plastic before but they break and leak. I made two 50' hoses out of 100' hose. After I cut my hose open, I noticed a protruding seam and was concerned that the fitting wouldn't seal. But after I trimmed the seam and installed the fitting, no leaks. The hose clamp is kind of bulky, but a minor inconvenience .

I use many short hoses made from cut pieces in my vegetable patches as a part of the irrigation layout. I had a mistake of ordering the repair kits which had a middle recess groove. They constantly leaked. I had to check on the joints daily and tighten or reinstall the clamps and many of them still leaked. It was a major pain. I am very happy with these new parts which have multiple sharp ridges in the design. They are very easy to use and they don't leak. I don't have to babysit them. I am ordering more.

I got a six pack price comparable to Walmart I would’ve only got two pieces. My hose is heavy duty commercial grade has a small rubber piece inside you had to cut out. If you have commercial hose and cut out the rubber piece that keeps it from kinking, it will not leak once cut out from inside & tightened tightly. Would recommend.

Item is a brass colored plating on aluminum. I did use them. Seems to be OK . Clamps provided with them are outstanding , all stainless steel with a stainless steel screw.

I didn't know you could purchase a repair kit for garden hoses. Now that I do, I have been able to fix/save two expensive garden hoses that got damaged by being carelessly run over with a lawnmower. The repair kit was super easy to install and my hoses work even better than before. I definitely recommend this product.

OK, I missed the fact that it was aluminum. I thought they were brass, but they are anodized to look brass. The stainless clamp is MUCH better quality than what you can get on your own, and you get a nice set of them for a reasonable price. I wish they orrered one in brass. It would be well worth the difference in price. Aluminum corrodes so badly with water and other metals.
