The Great Turkey Race: with a Roaring Engine Sound (Shaped Board Books) Board book – August 5, 2014

The kids were very disappointed that "roaring engine sound" was actually a faint horn beep...I was disappointed that rather than a traditional board book format the story page is glued to the shaped backing...six "pages", seven sentences...probably wouldn't have purchased

Very short.

The book, as it is advertised isn't what comes when ordered. The sound is said to be "a roaring engine", but it is actually "a beeping motorcycle horn". That's not the biggest issue though. The push button for the sound is an aluminum circle with a small circular cut out in the center that could easily cut a small finger. See picture attached

We have been enjoying this book for almost a year. It's a short quick read for bedtime and my toddler never gets tired of it. Surprisingly the horn still works after much use.

It was a cute book but a lot shorter than I imagined. Also the battery in the motor sound was low and practically run out when I first took it out of the box - by the time my nephew got it, 2 days later for thanksgiving, it was basically soundless. Overall, the noise interaction was why I chose the book, and I felt I definitely did not get my money’s worth.

Soooo disappointed! This is clearly false advertising. The book I received indicates that it has a beeping motorcycle horn and not a roaring engine as it shows on the description. It hardly even beeps. It's junk!
