A quick, sweet read!
I’ve read this book a few times now, and always enjoy it. I love a romantic suspense, and this is a quick read with a heroine in hiding—Blake and Reese have a sweet love and Kimberly had me intrigued the entire way through!*note: this is a closed door romance!

Romantic Suspense and lots of kisses
Reese Taylor was a beauty queen at the end of her reign. On the night she was to transfer her crown, another woman who looks and is dressed like Reese is mistakenly shot. She is immediately placed in protective custody witness protection until they find the man.She is sent to a ranch in Montana where Blake Emerson runs the ranch. When he was told someone named Reese was coming to the ranch and would be able to help on the ranch, he expected a man, not a woman. At first, he is frustrated and determined not to like Reese. But, the more time he spends with her, the more he likes this woman and wants to protect her.I won't give away the rest of the story, but there is drama, romance, suspense, a psychopath on the loose and so much more. The story is supposed to be a clean romance but it pushes the envelope a little bit with some swear words and some passionate kissing.I listened the audio version of this book and enjoyed the narration. I felt it was pretty well done.

Excellent romantic suspense.
Reese held the title of Pearland Rose in her local community but on the night she was to transfer her crown to the newPearland Rose someone tried to kill her. While in the washroom freshening up before passing over the crown, a strangercomes in and mistakenly shoots the new queen who is also preparing for the event. This is lucky for Reese but not so luckyfor the in-coming Rose. Reese is immediately put into the witness protection program and flown to Montana to live on aranch. Blake is the ranch owner who was told that he was getting someone entering the program named Reese who had ranchexperience. He really needed ranch help and was so happy to get a man that could work while living there. What a shockwhen he picked up Reese from the airport and sees she is not a man as he expected. Also, her only ranch experience waswhen she helped out at a dude ranch so he had her doing the cooking and helping out around the house instead of working onthe ranch.I loved the characters and the plot. I love stories with people who are in the WITSEC program, so that aspect was veryinteresting to me. This is a well written romantic suspense that is easy to follow. The surprise events near the end madethis book even more exciting.I loved the way Reese made the best of everything. Her entire life as she knew it had to stop but she didn't let it gether down. She had no idea how to work or live on a ranch but she was smart and a hard worder so she did what she could tohelp out.Blake was a good boss and kept the ranch hands in line. Even though he was tough, he was also considerate of them andReese. On top of it all, Blake was a gorgeous cowboy - perfect. The three ranch hands who lived in the basement of theranch house were a hoot! It was fun to watch them interact with Reese at dinner and to see Blake's reaction. He didn't likethem getting too friendly with Reese even though he didn't want her either. Or so he wanted to believe. Reese and Blakewere friends but started to have stronger feeling for each other.I really enjoyed this romance and recommend Reese's Cowboy Kiss.

I Liked This Story
When Reese Taylor was about to hand over the pageant crown, the new beauty was shot in the bathroom with Reese in a stall, and it appeared the killer mistook the new queen for Reese. Reese is sent to a ranch in Montana for protection,Blake Emerson was shocked when he picked up Reese at the airport. He was expecting a man, not this lanky, blond beauty. He tries to cover it up, and things go okay for a while, but trouble is brewing from his ranch hands, from a good friend, and from a crazed killer. Can he protect this woman and his heart?Despite quite a few minor problems, I enjoyed this novel. In the first part, it changed points of view without any indication. Reese’s flirting almost seemed brazen and uncalled for at times. For example, she takes Blake into her bedroom at night to show him a contact game with her in a silky, short pajama set and him in just sports shorts. In fact, it took me a long time to warm up to Reese because of this and her syrupy, over-the-top Southern speech. I’m Southern, too, but I’ve never heard anyone talk like this, except in a bad movie. There were also some inconsistencies. Blake said none of the ranch hands knew about Reese’s situation and that it was important to keep who she was a secret, but then he talked with Tom as if Tom knew everything. Since Reese was in hiding, I wondered why she didn’t use a fake name. At one place, the light was so dim Reese could only see outlines, yet she saw Donald get a run in his stockings. And, it was never explained why Terrance lied to Blake. Some grammatical errors included “stalky” for “stocky,” “Bettys’” for “Betty’s,” and “alight” for “all right.” The book had no sex outside of marriage, and only a few of the more minor curse words - 6 that start with “h” and 3 that start with “d.”I deliberated how to rate the book. I found it pretty clean for a secular novel, and I appreciated the fact that the plot wasn’t build mainly on not communicating. When there were misunderstandings, they were resolved reasonably. It did hold my interest, so I gave it 4 stars. I did like it for the most part.

Fantastic
Firstly I love both Blame and Reese as characters and as a couple. Then there was the plot with why Reese moved to Montana anyway that was an interesting sub plot. Then there was the men and women in the ranch I loved there teasing they was more like family then workers though some of them are family.Tanner wow I want to know what is up with that guy. I loved Allie.Learning about Reeses's and Blake you have some very powerful words about grief. Blake's not from his father helped me as I struggle with the grief of my grandma's anniversary made harder this year knowing I won't be seeing my family

Slow
At the beginning this story promised all the elements I like, a damsel in distress with a hot sexy cowboy protecting her from an evil stalker. Sadly the promising start soon lost its momentum. A good two thirds of the book lacked interest and warmth. The romance between the two leads was very uninspiring and lacked any depth of feeling or emotion for my taste. If you like to read sweet country tales without any 'heat' then this is for you. Sadly not for me.

REESE' S COWBOY KISSES
This is a lovely romantic story, a soothing of the soul rather than get down & dirty. The relationship between Blake & Reese occurs swiftly but is written well. The characters strength builds slowly, there are unexpected events throughout - right the way to the end.

Western love.
This I think is the first of the trilogy about the three brothers. However I read this one second and the third one first. Can't wait to read the second one now. Again I loved the characters.

Enjoyable
I liked the story. Could have made it a bit longer in the beginning when he was stalking her but other than that I really enjoyed this book.
