IGIGI Women's Plus Size Tropical Beauty Maxi Dress

This is one of the nicest, best fitting dresses I've had in a long time. I needed something for a wedding and so I ordered two sizes since I was in a hurry and needed to be sure I'd get one that fit. I ended up keeping the one labeled 14-16 even though I would usually wear the next size up. I am 5'8" and this dress is LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG! Even with heels, it was going to drag on the ground, but I was lucky and found someone to hem it in a hurry. Then I threw it in a bag in my suitcase and went to the wedding - this dress will not wrinkle! My only "complaint" would be that you can't tell in advance what your'e getting with this dress because of the fabric. For example, the top portion of my dress had a lot of white on it, where I would have preferred it to look more like the picture online with all the colors on the chest portion. The one that didn't fit me looked more like that one. Still, if they had this exact dress available in additional patterns, I'd order more!

Beautiful dress. Such bright, happy colors. Sizing is very good, 1X (14/16) fit well except as others have said for the length. I usually wear a 16w or 18w in slacks but with the flare of the skirt this dress was just right. I'm 5' 5' tall and will need to have it hemmed about 6-8 inches. The dress seems to be of high quality material and workmanship. As an added bonus a matching bolero jacket was included in the package! This is not a casual wear maxi dress, in my opinion this would be perfect for a party or formal dinner. One reviewer commented she would be wearing this as her wedding dress and I think it is a perfect choice! Overall very satisfied. I will definitely buy IGIGI again.

did not fit as expected, runs big in the bust

The dress was GORGEOUS, fit incredibly, and was everything I hope it would be....except, they never finished sewing the zipper on so I had to spend an additional 25 dollars at my tailor to have a $200 dress sewn. If I didn't pay as much as I did for it, it wouldn't have been such a big deal. But, I think for that price. they could have at least completed the dress.

One of the most beautiful dresses I own. It's well made, in the USA, and the fabric has stretch and weight so that the skirt flows when worn. It is also fully lined so there are no problems with a see-through skirt, etc. It's perfect to wear on vacation, out to dinner, to a wedding, etc. The dress is not inexpensive but it is worth every penney I paid for it. I'll have it for a very long time. I have to add that I've never worn it without getting compliments from total strangers on the street.

This dress is gorgeous. I was surprised how heavy it is because of the lining. It really doesn't need a lining or a jacket, but those are nice added benefits. For the fit, excellent fit, hides all the bulges but the dress has about an extra 8 inches on the length. I am not a short person, i'm 5 foot 5 inches tall, literally if you were 6 feet tall, the length would be perfect, so be prepared to have a seamstress in mind. Fast shipping! I didn't communicate with the seller, but i can't wait to take this on vacation with me!

The dress is absolutely gorgeous. The material is soft and the dress flows beautifully. It's fully lined. It was slightly loose at the purple band below the bust. It has a side zipper but I didn't need to use it. I'm 5'6" but I don't wear high heels so I had to have the dress hemmed about 3 inches. I can't wait to wear it!

The dress was okay, but the quality itself in my opinion was not worth the price. It runs extremely big and long (I'm 5'10 and it was about 5" too long). The purple waistband and shoulder straps don't seem to be as quality as the overall material of the dress.
