Surprisingly effective, with a good amplifier
I did not think this antenna would work as well as it did, but I couldn't be happier. I started with a cheap indoor antenna that only yielded 17 channels. After mounting this antenna on my chimney and plugged it into my existing cable system with a Comcast signal amplifier, I jumped to 65 channels! Love the fact that it's omni-directional requiring no directional adjustment. Plus it's very light-weight and easy to mount. This antenna is well-worth the price.

Great Reception
This antenna is very easy to install. The reception is great and I was able to up the number of channels that I was receiving by at least 10 channels. I live 125 from the nearest tower and this is a great way not to have to get satellite or cable tv. I would buy it again.

Works Well !
Bought this antenna for a friend who lives on the 15th floor pad. Could only pick up 4 over the air channels with 2 other antennas! This one picked up 94 ! Do NOT use the supplied amplifier (as others have mentioned) if you are close to the transmit towers(I was less than 20 miles away from the towers).Note to the manufacturer: Since this is designed for and needs a ground wire per instructions, only makes sense to include the wire! Was no big deal for me but someone might not have extra wire and the loop connector?!I still like and would recommend this antenna.

Did not work for us
We bought this since the cheaper versions claiming 65 mile range, didn't do much to catch our 15+ channels we are supposed to receive. We thought this one would be high power ultra awesome, but really, with us being only 20 miles away from town, it should catch most of them. We got 2 channels more (only shopping channels though) compared to the cheaper version, but that isn't cutting it it for us to get rid of cable TV. The ones we want, FOX etc weren't even there, we got 5 in total and 4 of them were shopping channels. We had to send it back.

Needed some extra parts for install
Very fast delivery with prime and easy to follow instructions. I saw it has A connection for A ground wire on the antenna and refers to it in the instructions but it did not include the site so I bought it seperate . I also do not like the outside connection not having A waterproof boot to keep moisture out of the connection so I bought that also. I have just hooked it up inside right now and it picks up the same channels as the inside antenna at 16 but will post an update once I get the other stuff ordered and get it outside.

Works well with Amazon Fire Recast
I use my antenna with Amazon Fire Recast to pick up HD signals on the south end of the home and send them to other TVs in the house via Fire Stick. Plus it has a terrific channel guide and DVR option just like the Cable set top boxes. Antenna works in outdoor applications and so far picks up the most channels.

Not as good as you think
It is up on a 40 ft and it gets 6 channels. Pretty bad in my book. But i moved it around and got more channels to show up but still having problems getting them to show up on a consistent basis.

Should get 20+ channels minimum - Getting 3 with this antenna.
This has been one of several different Antenna I have purchased and since returned. Finally found one that worked for me (ANTOP UFO 360° Omni-Directional Outdoor HDTV Antenna).
