It's basically a piece of formed rubber/plastic. Yes, it fits the Thumper perfectly, but $45 for an extruded piece of rubber/plastic is really expensive.On the good side, it fits squarely on the floor and enables you to get a great foot massage.If you've already expended the money for a Thumper, may as well get maximum use of it and purchase this piece too.

Made of a spongy rubber. Needs to have either a full textured bottom or textured gripping feet in order to reduce sliding. Stability could be better but this stand is necessary if you want it to also act as foot massager unless someone is there to hold it in place. IMO it is ridiculously overpriced for what it is. I resisted buying it at first because of the price but I finally gave in since there is never someone around to help hold the thumper when you want to use it. So if you can rig something else yourself that would work that's what I'd suggest. Otherwise, for the rest of us just buy it because it works.

A little pricey- but a must have for your thumper. Great to put on the couch- lay on your back and massage your calves by yourself . Holds the massager securely in place- heavy rubber stand

My Thumper massager was always moving around on the surface it was placed on when using it on my feet or legs. This holds it in place and it doesn't migrate around the floor anymore.

This increases the versilatility of the thumper greatly. Several family members use this daily now. Greatly helps sore feet after walking

With bilateral, pedal neuropathy, the foot pain is often intolerable.. using this device for 15 minutes allows for temporary (30 minutes to an hour) of respite from the agony.
