Good value lights that shine brighter than expected
First impressions when they turned up was how small the box was for 12 lights. On opening you discover that what you have is 12 lamp heads each individually wrapped, and 12 rods with the stakes inverted in to one end. All neatly organised with the box, this saves having a ridiculously large box which is always welcome, however it would be nicer I think to have the lamps wrapped in something other than 12 mini plastic bags.Assembly couldn't be easier. Remove the stakes/spikes from the rods and put them back in the other way around. Twist the clear plastic covers from the solar tops and then you can access the on/off switch. Make sure the switch is set to on, replace the covers and then push them on to the other end of the rods.I received my lamps today, took them out of the box at about 6pm and every single lamp came on when I switched them on. It was dimly lit in my kitchen, but still pleased to see that that they all worked fine. It took about 5 minutes to assemble them all.I put them straight outside in position and left them there to get the last couple of hours of light. The photo was taken at 9pm.I'm impressed with the brightness but assume they're not fully charged so will be interested to see if they get an brighter with exposure to light in the day.Build wise, they're not super sturdy but they dont feel flimsy either. They will definitely last the year from a build point of view.In the past I've issues with water getting in to lights and killing the bulbs so will see what happens with these. For the money though I'm happy with the quality and the brightness.

I love them!
At first I wasn’t so sure about these, they arrived in a small box and looked very tiny considering it’s a pack of 12. Saying this though me and the kids quickly assembled them by putting the pieces together and turning the switch on. No instructions where needed. The size once assembled was actually just right.Even though it was daytime and we were indoors they were sensitive enough to the dark areas and turned on automatically. They are bright... or brighter than I had expected and they do actually last the whole night on!Overall the end result is good and I may order some more for the front garden

Not the best quality
Be careful as the stakes are not very robust and 4 have snapped already! 3 lights have failed within 3 months. I did contact customer service but was told I needed to send back all 12 lights (only 11 actually received) but the thought of removing them all with muddy stakes and sending back just seemed like more hassle than it was worth. On a plus note, when the whole set worked, they did look very effective, just a shame my display now has malfunctioned lights in it.

Great value for money
Good things come in small packages ... and this was no exception. These are great lights and fantastic value for money. They are very easy to assemble. They are unobtrusive so your eye isn't drawn to them during the day. But at night they emit a good, strong light, even in March with little sunlight to charge the solar panel. They are perfect for providing a guiding light in your garden and create an attractive show. Obviously, being solar, the light isn't as strong as an electric light. But for a solar light these do the job. The only negative was the lack of instructions. As simple as they are to assemble, it would have been handy to know there was a switch hidden away.

Got maybe 3 months out of them...
So, I'm really annoyed about this to be honest. I've got a South facing garden, so there's no excuse for lack of charging with these. However I got them around May 2020 and by August 2020 they're half dead, as in, half of the lights are dead and don't work. I've swapped them around with ones that do work to see if it was a solar issue, not charging them, but it's not. They are poorly protected against weather, so they get a lot of moisture in them. After further inspection, a lot of the diodes have their connections uncovered or not insulated, meaning that water moisture has gotten in and caused them to rust. The outer transparent casing has started to fog up on some, and not moisture fog, but the plastic has gone cloudy, making them more opaque now and less light is visible. The worse part is, that they're out of their 30 day return window.I would strongly advise AGAISNT buying these.

Great value for money!
We bought these to put around our caravan awning to help prevent people tripping over guy ropes, they worked a treat. Very pleased indeed. They click together really simply, they are quite bright and look good, we used them for two fulls weeks on holiday and will add them to our garden now that we have returned. I have already recommended them to friends.

Good to begin with but poor value over time
I bought these in the Summer and initially they were quite impressive. One of the twelve failed completely after a few days but the rest soldiered on through the summer and autumn. However, gradually, as time has gone on they've become less and less effective, only coming on for a very short period each night (<2 hrs) and their brightness has dimmed until they emit almost no light at all. So, from a long term investment quite disappointing really. It might be that in the longer Winter days the sunlight isn't bright enough to recharge the solar cells and maybe one Spring/Summer roll around next year they'll start working again but I suspect that's probably giving the manufactuer too much credit/benefit of the doubt for a cheap shoddy product.
