Aquabot Supreme Robotic IG Pool Cleaner

We've had an Aquabot Supreme for nine years now, and the drive motor just failed for the second time. If we replace the motor, before labor it'll be over $400. Aside from the high repair costs, it's a great little robot.

I purchased the AquaBot Supreme in May of 2016, put in our inground pool for the first time, followed the instructions to a tee, after running the supreme, my husband and I noticed sweeper marks on our liner along with another 2inch mark that ran vertical and horizontal we immediately took the robot out of the pool. We found that the rubber sweeper came off the pulley or track. I called the retail company that I purchased it from he told me that he never heard of such a thing and that it had to come from the factory that way, he did come out to the home and took pictures and a video of the markings on the liner. He stated that he thought the liner was my problem. Now, mind you I have been cleaning this pool manually myself with no problems with my liner. Once I put this robot into my pool the marks appeared. They call these scar marks, which means the robot removed my design from my pool liner, (which is only 4 years old 27 gauge liner the top of the line). The retailer has backed away from the situation and so has his rep for the robot, now I am dealing with the mfg, who wants me to send back the unit so they can look at and make a determination whether or not the robot caused the markings. Not sure what is going to happen, but I would not recommend this robot to anyone. I have asked them to place this unit in another pool so they could prove to me that it truly is my liner and not the robot and they said no way lady. I am very frustrated at this point, because I have been jacked around and still no solution, not even a refund of my monies, but yet they have the machine. I did ask what my guarantee was on how to get my monies back, and the guy told me at the mfg, if you do not get a refund or a solution then I guess you will have to take us to court. REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never written a review about anything in my life, but I’m hoping I can save someone a lot of money and headaches that I’ve gone through with my aquabot. I bought the aquabot supreme two summers ago and within the first month the motor was shot. I sent it in and they fixed it but I had to clean by hand for two month while I waited to get it back after spending $1,000 on this hunk of junk. The next summer it broke again. Not wanting to wait, I bought the parts and fixed it myself but after that the motor broke again. At this time my warranty is up and aquabot is saying I need to pay them to fix it because it’s wear and tear! Wear and tear? How could that be, the things only been in my pool for a total of 4 months in two years. Aquabot is a joke. You can listen, or you can have the same struggles I’m having which is buying a new cleaner.

I purchased my Aquabot Supreme 9 years ago . It has been an awesome addition to our pool. At 6 years I had to replace one of the side plates and at 7 years the brush heads. This year I am replacing the drive belts and tracks. This has been a very dependable robot. I never leave it in the pool longer than 1 hour after it cleans the pool. I think a lot of others will leave them in the pool over night or shock their pool while he is in there and it causes problems.

Good cleaner

I love my Aquabot Robot! It's soo easy to operate and it does a stellar job at cleaning my pool, each and every inch from the bottom to the wall edges at the water line. It's very easy to clean as well and makes maintaining the pool very easy.

We purchased our second Aquabot pool cleaner about a month ago and are loving it. Our first one was a Turbo T model and lasted us nearly NINE years so we knew we were buying an Aquabot cleaner again and eventually decided to go with the "Supreme" model this time. We love it, too, and the only noticeable difference is the speed at which it moves and therefore cleans (the Turbo T is a bit faster). I highly recommend Aquabot pool cleaners!
