Samsung Customer Support is terrible
I purchased this microwave because it had a handleless door, and it seems like the handle is the failure point for a lot of microwaves. The unit performed well for 11 months and then suddenly stopped heating. In theory Samsung microwaves are under warranty for a year. I contacted customer support and was pleasantly surprised that they were offering to send someone out to service the unit. They cancelled the visit without notice and so began a long series of interactions by phone and text with customer support in which the changed the terms, finally settling on having me come up with my own box with 4" of styrofoam padding to mail it back for exchange. Where do you get something like that. Its moot, because they said they would send a shipping sticker, and failed to get it to me in time to qualify for the warranty. I am hoping Amana or GE's handleless over the range microwaves will serve me better. It is ridiculous to pay over $400 for a microwave that lasts less than a year, and then have to put up with their terrible customer service.

Arrived Damaged
The microwave arrived on time. That was awesome! But…. The box was damaged and so was the microwave. It looks as though it was dropped on it’s side. It is usable and somewhat hidden when installed. But still. I paid a bunch for this appliance.

DOES NOT WORK - MICROWAVE
The unit arrived two days late. Upon arrival, the microwave was dented. Had professional installer install unit. It does not work at all. Unit will not heat anything. Beyond disappointed. Also out $180 on installation and subsequent removal of unit.

30s button doesn’t auto start microwave
It looks beautiful and that’s why I got it. I was able to navigate the menu to set the clock and turn off all sounds, so that’s great. My main usability issue so far is that pressing the +30s button also requires pressing the “Start” button. The cheapo microwave I had before knew to start right away once I pressed the 30s button. It also doesn’t have any 1,2,3 minute express button functionality that I’ve seen. I’d just assumed these were pretty standard

!! Fire Risk !!
Bought this Microwave in November of 2019 as part of a complete set of Kitchen appliance. Four months later, In March of 2020 it started having a very strong electrical burning smell with light smoke. Samsung sent a service company out who replaced the defective part. Was told then if we had left it running there's a good chance it would have caught on fire. The unit worked fine for 10 months until 2 weeks ago the same, strong electrical smell started again. Voiced my concern with Samsung that this was the second time and I was not comfortable with this being a fire hazard in my home. hey actually told me "If it hasn't actually caught on fire yet, there is nothing we can do" and sent me to another repair facility. Just letting folks know, buy a Samsung Microwave at your own risk!
