I was impressed with how solid the trees are made! The steel adjusting rod in combination with the foot and heel blocks provide unlimited adjustment options. The shoes in the picture needed adjustment just along the top edge. They fit perfectly now!

Bought these for my 6 year old's softball cleats (she has a wide foot and they just don't make cleats that fit her well). I've used these shoe stretchers three times so far and am very happy with them. They seem very sturdy. Good news - my daughter can wear her cleats without any issue.

This is a great PAIR of shoe stretchers for the price. I stress "pair" as many of the others I researched did not come as a pair. They are quite heavy and substantial and were very easy to manipulate. I tried them first in a pair of women's flats that needed stretching in just the wide part of the shoe. I used the little bunion inserts and stretched the shoe just slightly...worked like a charm...exactly where I needed them stretched. I also wanted to stretch the instep of a pair of snake boots but wasn't sure how to manipulate the shoe tree to accomplish that. My husband solved the problem by pulling the trunk of the boot down flat to get the tree in. Snake boots are very tough made of leather and kevlar and bending the boot that direction did not hurt the trunk of the boot. I wouldn't suggest doing this with fashion boots however. I left the stretcher in the boot for about a week and turned it a bit to every day or so. Again, they stretched the boot just where I needed it. This pair of shoe stretchers if definitely worth the money.

Well-made and easy to use. Best stretcher I've found, thus far, and I've had several wear out or fail. I don't expect that with this product.
