It’s so soft and has a cooling effect. You don’t feel suffocated when wearing it. The material is super light weight. The long hijabs usually gives me headache because of the weight dragging down from my head. But this one is so light that you don’t feel like you are wearing it. Wash it with cold water to maintain the softness. I am 5’1” and the L size covers my wrist and back easily. So perfect for praying. The face opening is not too wide and the fabric is elastic. So you don’t need to sew in the face opening or alter it like other ready made hijabs, if your face shape is on the smaller side. And the color did not fade at all. Using it for almost 5 months now. You might wanna wash it1st time before wearing it, as it comes with a bit rubbery smell. After 1 wash, the smell was gone.

I really liked this, but as noted by another reviewer, it didn't stay in place to cover my hair. It was very lightweight when I tried it on and extremely comfortable ... exactly what I was looking for. However, due to not wanting to have to wear an under scarf, I am unfortunately returning it. With that caveat, I would highly recommend this. The length was perfect for me and I wanted it loose ... I'm 5'9" and a little heavier than I like. I probably could easily have used a size Large instead of XLarge, but liked the comfort and freedom of the XLarge.

Perfecttttt, my first time buying a khimar and it's amazing. I ordered black, the material is lovely. I'm 5'7 and it covers my backside as well as falls directly at my wrists when standing. Does require undercap or headband based on your hair and the shape of your head. Amazing for the price, just order it
