I was prepared to wait for an extended time to receive this hanger (it took a couple months to arrive but I knew that) because I wanted to finally have a sturdy pole that didn't bend and sway from the weight of our bird feeders. While it is higher quality than most sold in chain hardware stores, it is not that much better. It still leans with two filled feeders hanging from it. My search for a great pole continues...

Great, solid construction, The paint-job could have been better, did not finish painting the top and therefore showed rust after 2 days in the great outdoors. Easy fix for us by painting rustoleum on the missed part, however, hard to match the color.

This double Shepherd's hook is very sturdy, holding two upside down tomato planters with no problem. Unfortunately, it has only been outside for three months and the decorative top is already rusting.

Color is more of a bronze. States it bronze but in picture looks blackish. It is a sturdy pole and comes in 1 piece.

This product is so inferior regarding the finish. Had my son put it out in the yard for me approximately 2 weeks ago. It has rust spots all over the pole and around the finial on top. It already looks 10 years old! So disappointed in the finish on this product. If I still had the shipping carton, it would go back!!! You can buy this same thing at Menard's for $20.00 and built and finished way better! Only problem for me, It wouldn't fit in my car!!!

Great post. This thing is HUGE, it arrives in a huge box; the quality is great; it's solid unlike the junk they sell at home depot (then again, theirs is one quarter the price, so if you don't need solid then you don't need this). Anyway, it's very attractive as well with a nice finish. I ended up painting it to match something but you really wouldn't need to if the color works for you.

Nice looking. Fairly sturdy. A pain to arrange shipment
