I bought these to put into 2 lamps on either side of my double garage. The house builders had put the on/off switch in the garage itself. How smart of them! It was a real pain putting them on when required and I did contemplate getting it rewired so that the switch was on the inside of the house. I've been slowly moving to smart LED light bulbs around the house and thought that this would be the perfect solution. The main aim was to control the lights from my phone without having to go to the garage! I am glad to say that they link up well with the Smart Life App that many of these generic smart bulbs use. No hub required. As long as the bulb can obtain a wifi signal from your wireless router, you'll be able to control it from your phone and from anywhere in the world! A word of advice, you can pair it with a lamp close to the router, change the name to where you want to place it in this case 'Garage1', remove the lamp, do the another bulb and finally fix it at the desired location. For the lamp closest to the door, I have set it to come on at dusk for a couple of hours. This you can schedule from the app. One thing to mention, it is not dimmable and it only emits a warmwhite light.There are more expensive options that you can dim and change LED colours. I had it now for a couple of weeks and it has been reliable and very convenient. I'll update over the next few months about durability of the lamp. Thanks for reading my review.

These are quality bulbs. Came nicely packaged and work as advertised. Let me sum up this purchase.Pros- very neet professional looking packaging (also small and safe)- nice looking bulbs, instructions included and extras- bulbs work great after installation, sync with Alexa where I can rename them, use voice commands, create routines for them etc.- on/off and brightness function- good app on it's own (Tuya smart), supports voice commands from a mobile- I like how these bulbs switch off (they dim down rather than just go off)Cons- the installation process could be slightly better explained. I'm quite tech savvy but got lost which app to install 1st. You have to download Tuya smart app ( I did from the web page), then create an account, then enable Tuya smart skill in Alexa, add bulbs in Tuya smart app and then Alexa app will detect and add them automatically. Now you can enjoy them.- 1% brightness could be a bit less bright...- not really related to the product, more Alexa issue, I wish I could enter the % of brightness rather than only being able to use the slider which can be a bit fiddly sometimes

Have purchased a total of 6 bulbs (3 x 2 pack), 5 of which are excellent. The other would not pair and is obviously faulty having watched it flashing for almost an hour it in various sockets. Amazon would only let me send the pair back but as the other is now connected to my wi-fi I have no desire to repeat the process of set up which is mind-numbing.After 10 months 2 of the others are now flickering and are really annoying. I would expect a cheap 'ordinary' bulb to last a lot longer than this let alone a pricey smart one!

I bought a pack of 2 of the LOHAS B22 Smart Light Bulbs in late December 2020. Yesterday, 3rd October 2021, the second bulb stopped working!The bulbs are meant to last 30,000 hours, according to the product technical information. 30,000 hours is 1250 days which is 3.4 years. The first one lasted 6 months and the second lasted 3 months which isn't even 3,000 hours. We had these in the downstairs toilet so they weren't on for hours at a time! As there is a window in that room, we didn't even turn the light on every time we went in there. That means these bulbs only last a tiny fraction of the time they are supposed to!I am not impressed and won't be buying these again. I wouldn't recommend them at all! I don't see how they can be 'Amazon's Choice'! That obviously isn't any guarantee of quality or reliability!

I've been looking for smart bulbs at a decent price for a while. Two for £19.99 seemed great value for money, but also made me wonder about the quality. I had nothing to wonder about. Coming in much cheaper than more recognised brand names, I have to say these were definitely a great purchase. They're energy efficient (A+), work really well with Alexa or the Lohas Smart App, dimming is easy enough as well. I had both bulbs installed within minutes. I bought one for my mum as she doesn't get about easily. Now she can turn her light on or off without exerting any effort. That alone makes the price more than worth it. That aside, it's awesome to lay in bed, read your book, play games on your phone, etc and when you're done? Alexa (or the app) will switch the light off and you can just go to sleep without having to get up to turn the light off. Superb item, I'll definitely be buying more for the rest of the house. But the extra value for me came from the fact that thanks to these bulbs, I've been able to make my mum's life that much simpler with what a lot of people take for granted. Can't wait to get more.

The media could not be loaded.  Perfectly excellent. This was one of my first steps into a smart life.As you can hopefully see from the video the light is bright and responsive to alexa.In order to get them all communicating I needed to download an application which was free and easy to use.Once the app had 'found' the device alexa found it very soon after.I'm still in the phase of switching the kitchen light off while my partner is in there...endless fun!
