Mora 163 Wood Carving Crook Knife - Natural

I bought this hook knife as I wanted to be able to get a cleaner cut at certain angles my Mora 164 couldn't. Great knife, as I expected from Mora, but still I'm very happy with it. I'd still by it if it was twice the price. Blade only needed a quick strop for a razor edge. Very easy to keep the edge on too.

A handy wood carving tool for getting at those awkward shapes. can be used left or right handed. my only gripe being- you cant use it straight out of the box. Although, reasonably sharp on arrival it really needs to be stropped awhile before use as there is some kind of protective coating on the three cutting edges.

Oh my god what a knife im not much of a carve but this thing just makes me want to try for the bush crafter or the camper just wanting to carve stuff its a must.

Prompt delivery and product was safely packaged and of good quality. Haven't used it yet so still to find out how well it takes an edge!

i really wanted the dedicated right handed one as that one is sharp on only one side so allowing better control by allowing thumb support on the rear of the blade with fine carving,however this is not a bad product and ideal for left handers,which im not thus the 3 stars.
