Eyson Inflatable Life Jacket Life Vest Basic Manual

We bought these for when we go tubing on the river, it's known to be a bit dangerous, so a life vest makes me feel much better. However the big bulky ones are so hot and uncomfortable, & totally block you from getting any sun. My friend was wearing this since my husband decided he was too cool for safety, at the very end of the float we almost missed getting off and would have went on rapids we likely wouldn't survive on some tubes, anyways the current was strong and we were swimming against it and trying to get to shore. My friend got really scared as she started bobbing in the water & pulled it, her head was above water before she even knew what had happened. I'm so glad to know how well they work incase we we ever need them!

I can't recommend it. I had mind in my boat storage and it inflated. Dont know what happen...Update as of 08/06/2019 I have determined that since the vest is the AUTOMATIC type I think the yellow bobbin may have got wet by the moist environment or water which may have cause the inflation. I will recommend this vest which should be safe and believe well storage should not cause inflation for the life jacket, but remember to follow store and safekeeping instructions for the life jacket.1.Avoid direct sunlight (But you can use it under the sunlight instead of the long term store under sunlight)2.Placed pfd in ventilated and dry place (The entire closed equipment is not good for the pfd)3.Avoid placed pfd in leak or moist place4.Please avoid placing in nearby the high temperature machine such as electric oven, electric fire5.Avoid to put in the place with fuel, oil or solvent6.Pay attention to prevent the damage of mice7.If you need a long-term storage, please use rack to hung up for preservation

You will have to replace the co2 container if you use it, but there is a straw/valve you can use to physically blow up the jacket. When not inflated the jacket is comfortable and light. When inflated it is a little uncomfortable around the neck but not to bad. This jacket is great for kayaking because it isn’t bulky and doesn’t get in the way of paddling and does not restrict any movement.

Not US Coast Guard approved. This is a carriage requiremt for all life jackets on a vessel with a motor. Furthermore, it needs to be worn and not stowed to meet these same requirements, unlike the traditional type II orange jackets that can be stored on board. Life jacket is light but has fairly stiff plastic shell that you feel around your neck. Value was great, unfortunately, that means nothing since i'll have to return.

Looks good,feels good & functions properly. What more can you ask for? I ordered 2 & they took about a month to arrive. I was a bit angry about that but once I was able to use them all the anger dissipated. The colors on the woodland cammo pattern are good, the fit & feel is such that I don't even remove the vest the whole time I'm on the water. When inflated it unfolds to a bright yellow. Good visibility day & night & for the tactical boater, it's a must have.

I recently purchased a really nice life vest for fishing but I found it too hot to wear for very long in the heat so I did some research and found a lot of anglers using these type of vests.After some testing I found this vest to be comfortable all day. No issues with feeling hot or uncomfortable and the camo was a nice touch!My only concern is that one of my drunk friends may pull the cable jokingly.. lol

We purchased these for our small fishing boat, but due to weather and other obligations we haven't been able to go fishing lately. Even when we do...it's likely we'll NEVER (hopefully) know how well they work. I mean...after all - you're only going to know if you fall in or your boat sinks, right?

I like the style and the size and the weight. Haven't used it yet but it fits fine and I look forward to wearing it all times while fishing.
