Works great, if you know what it is for.
Was skeptical of Zinus, they have "2,000 lb." bed frames for memory foam mattresses that break in a year (white label: it's the same as many other frames for $125.)But these did the job. Vertical wood slats combined with my existing bed frame's metal horizontal beams means no sagging, every part of the bed feels even, and no dipping. Some notes:-- For spring mattresses, this will NOT replace your box spring. Seen a lot of pics of folks putting this in traditional metal bed frames expecting it to work. (Same as any other long planks of wood: if a kid jumps on the mattress, without cross members, it'll snap. What is expected here?) This is meant to add stability to beds with existing horizontal slats of some kind (wood, metal, etc.) that are just too far apart for a mattress to be well supported.-- Sliding around is real, but again, this shouldn't be the sole thing holding the mattress up. This is intended to be part of mattress support, not a sole support. After placing the mattress on, I let the planks shift inward, then pulled them back to the edge and checked underneath that none were overlapping or doubled up. All set.-- My current bed frame has horizontal slats, but the measurements were over 6" apart, which is against most memory foam mattress warranties. By putting these over it, it has a "lattice" appearance combined with the horizontal slats, and the wood makes contact with each horizontal slats distributing weight across all of the slats evenly (versus each horizontal slats receiving pressure and shifting/bending/buckling over time on their own.)-- Mold sucks. I'm sorry for those who found them with mold shipped. This is common with wood products and shipping containers + moisture + time, it is extremely possible these left the factory 100% but had spores on the wood or they transferred on from other contaminated product mid shipment. Its also possible Zinus failed a quality check. I'm not writing this for them. I bought these, no freebies or review samples here.I'm a big guy, but not tremendously so. 280 lbs, 6 ft. tall. And I've learned that most weight ratings on mass-produced bed platforms are nonsense. Anything spot-welded breaks over time just as easily as wood snaps given time and repeated pressure. I don't even slump down when I'm tired, I'm careful to sit each time before lying, and it still happens. The goal is getting more time out of a cheap bed frame, versus paying $600-1,200 for something with all sorts of feature I don't need (shelves, upholstered pillow-stitch headboard, trundle bed, drawers, etc.) that is likely assembled the exact same way with the same quality of parts. In closing, you can't pay for quality without overseeing someone custom-building it or doing it yourself. So, stack the deck where you can. This isn't going to replace a box spring. But it's a lot less unwieldy and likely cheaper (wood prices haven't really come back down) than getting a plywood sheet from the hardware store cut to fit your bedframe, stapling a fabric cover over it, and laying over the slats to 'back them up'. That's what this is for.

Perfect.
I ordered this to go over a metal box spring that has horizontal slats so that my memory foam mattress wouldn't sink into. I love that these slats run vertically so it nicely distributes the weight over the metal horizontal slats. The fabric cover will help keep the memory foam mattress in good shape. Arrived quickly and install was fast & easy. 5 star recommend!

My back feels better
I had really bad back pain and thought my new extra thick mattress was to blame. Then I read it could just be the bed frame or slats. I was using ikea luroy slats and i think.they were not string enough. I bought these and placed them on top of the slats. The ikea slats are horizontal and these are vertical. So its a criss cross pattern now and no sinking is possible. Lol. I might remove the ikea ones. But honestly my back pain subsided after a few days. I could not believe it. Im sleeping 100 times better because of these. I like that they are vertical. These slats are really really good quality. I loved the packaging and just how easy they were to lay down. It took me about a minute total to fix my bed. Now that I'm waking up with NO BACK PAIN and not stiff, I feel better. I would recommend this company and these slats. They are not cheaply made. They look and feel solid. I'm happy and I was miserable in pain.

Works just fine
Worth the price, light weight, just fit my queen frame. Just that it might move around when i put down mattreas, so i had to tape it down on 2 edges and in middle too.

Quality construction. Easy to install
Very happy. Easy. Good price. Saves time. If I had to go to store, pay for cuts, try to fit boards into my car?? No way. Buy this p. You’ll be pleased.

Nice quality slats!
I have an Ikea Brimnes bed with Luroy slats and a very heavy hybrid mattress (Stearn and Fosters Kirkland mattress from Costco). As a stomach sleeper, I am very sensitive to any dips in a mattress, so I have been sleeping close to the center beam where the mattress has the most support. Thanks to other reviews for this product, I decided these vertical slats laid over my horizontal slats might extend that center support to the whole bed. I put carpet tape on the last row of horizontal slats at the foot and head of the bed to prevent shifting when I rotate the bed. I used cheap Duck brand carpet tape which allowed me to easily reposition the slats before laying the mattress on it. Despite sliding the heavy mattress over the slats, they didn't shift at all. The wood is good quality, and I really like that it is encased in material giving the mattress even more support, similar to a foundation. The crisscrossed pattern seems extra supportive while still allowing the mattress to breathe. Just one more slat in each bundle would have been perfect, but combined with the other slats below it, this should work. Hopefully,I didn't already damage the mattress beyond redemption with those cheap Ikea slats. I will update my review in a few weeks or so after trying them out for a while. Until then, I'll keep my fingers crossed that these Zinus slats finally helps my back pain!

Not as easy as it appear
Bought this to put under an Avocado queen mattress (145lbs). Remember that as you slide the mattress around to position it the boards will move and may not be in correct position. I ended up screwing the Bunky to support boards. Would have been easier to use a metal bunky which will not move with the mattress as easily.

Bed is more firm, squeaks less, & probably more steady. no sliding yet. Perfect size for my queen.
Bed is more firm, squeaks less, & probably more steady. no sliding yet. Perfect size for my queen. Given the other reviews this product exceeded my expectation. Sliding has not been an issue as of yet, only got it yesterday. Size is a perfect fit for my queen. Super easy to use and I feel my bed is more sturdy as the weight is now distributed across all the support beams. Excellent choice especially if you have a memory mattress foam and are concerned about the gaps in the slats on your regular bed frame. Also the delivery woman was exceptional.

Works perfectly
Very easy to install. My husband says the bed is much more comfortable with the slats over having a boxspring under the mattress.

Works well on my queen bed
I purchased this to add support to my metal frame queen sized bed. The support that came with the bed was useless. There are 5 metal bars that run widthwise, with very flimsy boards between them. (See photo) These boards would bow, or even slide off the metal bars, leaving the mattress unsupported. These support slats are a perfect solution. I would caution anyone who does not have multiple cross supports. The long pieces of wood in this product would likely buckle.

Provides good support
Our bed has a built-in foundation that’s starting to sag, although we don’t want to replace it entirely yet, nor do we want an unbreathable layer of plywood.Got these slats which do a good job providing firmer support—I even fall asleep faster now with less neck and back pain.Wish the dimensions were listed on the product description, although the packaging indicates a length of 78.9”. It’s a perfect fit for our mattress, although oddly our foundation is about an inch too short for both the slats and mattress—thankfully it doesn’t overhang much. Also a little on the wide side, but it’s easy to adjust the slats closer together.I feel comfortable recommending these!
