BlackBerry for Leather Pocket for BlackBerry Bold 9790 - Black/Black

It was time for a mobile phone upgrade so I opted for the blacberry bold 9790. I picked the phone up from the store and asked about a case for it, they said the phone was so new they didn't have the correct case in yet, however this would have retailed at £19.99! The guy in the store suggested I look on Amazon. I did when I returned home and was delighted to find the leather case readily available at a much more reasonable price. I ordered the product and received it promptly, well packaged, within a couple of days. I am delighted with the blackberry 9790 leather case, it's a perfect fit for the phone , it is really nice quality and the little red stitch on the side is a smart detail and gives it a stylish lift. Overall, I would highly recommend this product

I don't normally bother with phone covers. Why buy a nice phone then cover it up was my feeling. I really like this one though. It looks and feels really nice. The great thing about it is that it works in harmony with the phone. It locks the phone and switches the screen off thereby saving battery life. Also when the phone alerts you that you have an email, when you take it out of the cover the email is open and ready to read, no going into menus etc to retrieve it. So, all in all a great product, an essential companion to the BB 9790. And not too expensive either.

Very nicely finished in good quality soft leather with rugged stitching. Lightweight and does not add unnecessary bulk to the Blackberry 9790. Although shaking the case upside down does let the Blackberry slip out, it is the right balance between snug fit and being easy to slide out. The case has the Blackberry feature whereby the backlight is turned off when you put it in, which is good for battery life. Ring tones etc remain loud when the device is in the case.Note: the Blackberry has to be removed from the case to charge it, which is an unavoidable consequence of the phone's charging port being at the bottom of the device instead of near the top.4 stars only due to the fact the device's LED light is obscured by the case. A simple design tweak would have avoided that.

product is excellent, fits my Blackberry 9790 perfectly! Definitely designed for this phone (purchased from Best Electronics) - bought another one before from Yellow Pot who claimed a cover that "fit 9700 and 9780" would also fit the 9790.. They've obviously never seen the two phones before as my phone was falling out constantly and didn't provide any protection at all. Also couldn't access the headphone jack as shown in the photos (Amazon should really look into this as its false advertising by that seller!).However the cover I now have fits perfectly, arrived in original sealed packaging and excellent protector for my phone (even has a cushion-y bit inside to protect against any accidental drops!). Has access to the headphone jack as well so that you can easily plug in your headphones on the go!Excellent item all round :)

I ordered two cheap alternatives in the past form other sellers; goes without saying they looked and felt cheap. I then invested in this baby, the quality for a start is amazing, looks and feels like a quality product gets my rating all day long. I would defo recommend this holster/case or whatever you want to call it. Oh and its a propor snug fit, fits perfectly, leaves the flashing light visible so you dont have pull it out every two second to check for messages/calls. It saves battery life too

Does what it says on the tin. Amazon wants 20 words, oh well. The case seems well made, fits well, and automatically locks the phone on insertion. Is that enough words yet?

Bought this for my Bold 9790, and as all other reviews state, it fits perfectly.I've left my review until now as I wanted to have the case a few months (bought early May) as I noted that one review says that the case started to disintergrate in no time. Well, please take it from the most clumsy, heavy handed person this side of Christendom that my case is still good as new. I keep my phone in my jeans pocket and am forever taking it out, and it's still as good as new.If I were going to be a nit picker, the red flashing led to let you know when a message is waiting is obscured by the top of the case, which is a slight problem if, like me you have your phone on silent the majority of the day. And if that's the only problem I can find, then it must be good, cos my nickname is Victor Meldrew !!!

The product was good but lasted only a week or so post which the stiches have started wearing out so avearge product.

J'adore mon téléphone BlackBerry, je ne veux pas en changer, il a 5 ans.Alors je suis ravie d'avoir trouver ce magnifique étui en cuir officiel BlackBerry. Epais, robuste, il protège parfaitement mon téléphone Bold 9790.C'est un officiel , donc le téléphone dans l'étui est en mode économie de batterie et les fonctions dans l'étui sont actives.C'est la grande classe. Le grain du cuir est beau, une petite couture rouge sur le côté fait son plus bel effet. merci au vendeur , et vive les BlackBerry !! lol

La custodia è ben fatta come materiale (vera pelle) e nelle dimensioni, dato che si adatta perfettamente alle forme del BB9790.Noto anche che il prodotto è stato migliorato rispetto alla versione precedente, intervenendo esattamente sui difetti che ne determinavano la maggiore usura:1) Il bordo superiore di ingresso del telefono, che si scollava e si apriva. Adesso è presente una cucitura di rinforzo.2) Gli angoli in basso, dove la cucitura si usurava e si aprivano gli spigoli...Adesso la parte frontale della cover si protrae in basso, modo tale da non avere più la cucitura sulla mezzerìa, che è la parte più esposta ad usura... Questo dovrebbe allungarli la vita.

Ich nutze mein Blackberry ausschließlich beruflich und seit zwei Wochen das BB Bold 9790 (vorher Bold 9000). Da bei dem Bold 9790 keine Schutzhülle mehr mitgeliefert wird, habe ich mir diese als Zubehör erstellt.Die Hülle ist ordentlich verarbeitet und sitzt aus meiner Sicht perfekt. Fest genug damit das Gerät nicht herausrutscht aber auch so locker, dass man es schnell genug aus der Hülle herausfingern kann. Beim Einschieben geht das Gerät wie gewohnt in den Ruhezustand und aktiviert sich automatisch beim Herausnehmen (sog. Holsterfunktion). Da die Lieferung ein paar Tage unterwegs war hatte ich den "Genuss" das Blackberry ohne diese Komfortfunktion zu transportieren, meine Erkenntnis ist: Wer die Funktion einmal kennen und schätzen gelernt hat, möchte sein Berry ohne diese eigentlich nicht mehr nutzen (Blackberry in die Tasche - Tastensperre aktivieren; Blackberry benutzen - Tastensperre deaktivieren, Tastensperre vergessen - Mist, auf welcher Seite bin ich denn jetzt wieder...).Optisch ist die Hülle in Ordnung; mir persönlich gefällt allerdings das Glattleder früherer Zeiten besser, das Material der Hülle bei meinem Bold 9000 machte auch einen höherwertigen Eindruck. Positiv ist allerdings, dass das Material beim Pocket sehr rutschfest ist und gut in der Hand liegt, für Hektiker wie mich ein nicht zu unterschätzender praktischer Vorteil im Alltag.Die Hülle ist recht steif, auch dies eine Veränderung zu früheren Zeiten, ich empfinde das aber nicht als negativ.Wie von anderen beschrieben ist die Hülle oben offen und lässt den Kopfhöreranschluss offen. Leider ist die Lautstärkeregelung auf der anderen Seite aber nur teilweise zugänglich, zum regulieren muss ich das Gerät dann doch ein Stück aus der Hülle ziehen.Insgesamt für mich ein empfehlenswertes Produkt und ein must have für das Bold 9790, wie andere Rezensenten schon bemerkt haben: Schade, dass diese Hüllen neuerdings bei BB als Zubehör verkauft und nicht mehr wie früher mitgeliefert werden.
