A personal memory
I bought this book from "awesome_books_001" and it arrived within 4-5 days of placing order, a day ahead of the shortest anticipated delivery date.It is an awesome book, with lovely stories about each car and driving them around the track. There is a great summary of each cars acceleration times near the back, showing how cars have changed over 100 yeas (earliest car is a 1901 Panhard B1).My motivation for buying it was that I knew Nick Mason had an awesome car collection and I wanted a better insight, plus my disabled son was given a ride in Nick's D Type Jaguar (XKD 1) on page 66 many years ago when attending a Treloar Trust fund raising event at Castle Combe circuit, so it is a nice piece of history for my family.Into the red: 22 .... is an earlier version with 22 v 24 cars listed. The additional cars in this book are:Ferrari EnzoAlfa Romeo TZ

Into The Red by another name
The book - & cd - are excellent. It's just a shame I didn't realise that I already had most of it, as it's Nick Mason & Mark Hales's book - & cd - titled Into the Red, but with the addition of a McLaren F1 GTR & a Ferrari Enzo. That's the only reason it doesn't get all 5 stars.

Good book. CD even better.
Great book. I bought it as I lost the CD that comes with it. Track 5 is a BRM doing laps of Donington Park and is the best engine sound I have ever heard. Play it loud😂

Excellent
I blush to admit that I picked up a copy of this book in a high street store while killing time and read the piece on the Porsche 962. That was enough, and I ordered my copy from Amazon, partly to save money, but also because the store copy was a bit tatty, having been picked up by loads of oiks like me. What grabbed me was that the text conveyed some feeling about what the car was like to drive, a bit more thoughtfully than 'THIS IS EPIC!!!'. The rest of the book lives up to that promise, so thoroughly recommended.
