So, full disclosure, I botched the installation three times. I installed this wretched thing THREE times and you know what? I'm ordering another one and leaving this positive review. Why? Because I generally only leave reviews when I strongly disagree with a product's current rating.This product doesn't deserve a one star rating. I spent hours looking for a protector that was like the one on my old phone, which I thought was standard. Glass, with a full adhesive backing. None of this "rim" glue or the craziness of having to bake your phone with a UV light just to apply a second layer of protection that might catastrophically fail when you try to remove it. I mean, what's the point in having a screen protector if you can't remove it when it gets damaged? All you've accomplished is adding bulk to your phone for no benefit.Now when this product arrived, it was (almost) EXACTLY what I wanted. Compatible with ruggedized phone cases, great screen coverage, has a fully-adhesive backing and feels just as good as the raw phone screen. I wish there weren't any black bars on the sides at all, but they're far enough out and thin enough that I don't notice them when the phone's on. That's not the sole reason why I docked a star though.I docked a star because it's true that it's a huge pain to install this thing, but honestly, it's not even the protector's fault. If you can't get the screen to install without bubbles, that means your alignment's off. This protector is beveled to match the S9+'s beveled screen - if your alignment's even slightly off on the horizontal axis, you'll never get it to lay flat because glass doesn't work that way. Trust me, I figured that out the third time when it was already too late because too much of the adhesive was lost and dust got trapped under the screen.So if you're looking for an uncomplicated protector that's like what was on the market a few years ago, this is the protector for you. Just don't rush the installation, and for goodness' sake, please use the installation jig. 1mm doesn't mean anything on a flat surface, but on a curved one, it's the difference between being flush and lifting half your protector off the phone's surface.Update 2019-02-19:So, this is going to sound pretty absurd, but after installing this thing the third time, I managed to get all of the bubbles out by... massaging the screen. I kid you not, I don't just mean pushing the air bubbles out to the side and watching them forcibly ejected from the phone's surface. I mean literally just massaging around an air bubble in the middle of the screen and watching it disappear, never to return. 5-star product. Easily.

This glass screen protector comes with plastic form to ensure a great fit, a wet wipe and dry wipe, an adheasive sticker and a small squeegee. My package did not include directions so I looked them up.Step 1 use wet wipe to clean phone screenStep 2 use the dry wipe to ensure its dryStep 3 use the adhesive sticker to remove any remaining dustStep 4 place the plastic piece around your phoneStep 5 carefully peel the back off (keeping screen close to phone to eliminate dust- also if you let go of the protective sheet you will most likely end up with dust)Step 6 press screen in the middleStep 7 remove form carefullyStep 8 use squeegee to get bubbles from the center (if small bubbles remain use your finger nails to push to edgeStep 9 starting at the top or bottom carefully seal the edgeaIf you move too slow small bubbles can remain.This screen protector works great with an open phone case, it does not work as well with my enclosed case. I do love the nice clear screen and image that this screen protector provides.

I was so glad to get a new screen because my previous one was very cracked. Even with all the cracks, it did such a good job of protecting my phone. Unfortunately, there were no directions to properly attach the screen. So I don't know if I should have done something differently or not. I tried 5 times to attach it. I did, but I ended up w/ it slightly off balance & with air bubbles. The entire left side is a large air bubble & no matter what I do I can not get it completely attach. Since then, I have dropped my phone & I have a crack. I don't know if I have a crack because I couldn't properly align the screen or just bad luck. My next screen will be purchased in the store & I'll ask them to attach it for me.

The glue covers the entire glass and works well if the installation is done correctly. If the glass is miss aligned the edges will have a large bubble along the side.I was slightly off on the first attempt and had to carefully lift the glass off the phone, took about 60 seconds with light lift on one corner. On my second attempt I got alignment correct and working from the inside worked out the air. If you get a bubble lift the closest edge and work it back out. Don't try and work bubbles out without lifting the edge, it won't work well.The reason for my 3 star review is that there are black lines at the sides of the glass and the glass does not cover enough of the curved edge thus blocking part of the screen and making it almost impossible to use tuch commands on the edge of the screen.In conclusion, if you don't use the edge of your screen then this screen protector is perfect for you.

I like the full adhesive of the screen protector but this one does not curve all the way around the end of the screen. The protector had a good grip to the screen but because it does not curve around edges it is hard to get a tight airless seal over the whole phone (I was able the first time but not with my new one). Regardless of this it is a good thick protector and has protected my phone from some good falls. I have dropped my phone several times and the screen protector had real held up. However this last time I installed a new screen protector after a major drop that broke the old protector (same maker) the new one would not seal fully no matter what I tried to do, I left a small bubble on right side and one tap against something in my purse on bubble side whole protector cracked. Now I need a new one. I will not be ordering this brand again.

This screen protector is one of the better ones I have used. I have installed 2 of them and neither installs were without atleast some bubbles. I work for a phone repair store and have installed hundreds tempered glass screen protectors but on these curved screens there is not a perfect screen protector I have found. That being said when I break this one o will order another. Get the screen as clean as possible use tape to get the small dust off and install carefully
