Anyway, I think - especially with heat - it will take to dark hair pretty well, maybe tint it. But i would recommend getting 20 volume developer and the gentlest/weakest bleach you can find, and then washing it out after about 10 minutes, just to lighten it a shade or two. You can also use violet developer, which will pull the brassy yellow tones out of your hair and leave you with a cool auburn-type color. Definitely use heat, too, and don't wash your hair with hot water for a week.
