It works great with Beats Studio Headphones!
I purchased solely because my original Beats headphone cord was not working with apple's lightning adapter. the audio was phone, but the buttons and microphone was not working. This cords plugs directly into the phone, and the buttons and microphone works fine; and that is all I asked for.If I was to point one thing that bothers me, it is how weak cord itself feels. I wish it was the braided version, or in some other style that would strengthen its durability.Outside of that, I'm happy with the purchase.

Great sounding alternative to a dongle
I am so pleased with this cable! I have resisted moving to a phone with no headphone jack because I love my audiophile headphones but alas, the time has come. I replaced the standard cable on my over the ear headphones and it works perfectly! The sound is just as good and the inline controls work flawlessly. I think it is a bit more elegant of a solution than a dongle plugged int the end of the stock cable and less chance of getting lost. I would definitely buy this again.

Works as expected. Better mic than the built in one for Studio3 headphones
The main reason I purchased this was because I use my Beats Studio3 headphones to take calls on my iPhone 7. People were complaining that my voice sounded "muffled". I wasn't going to use the analog dongle with the Studio3 RemoteTalk cable so I got this for the lightning connector. I asked people I spoke with if I sounded any better with this mic and they said it was a lot better. So, if you want a better mic than the built in Studio3 one and don't want to deal with the analog dongle get this instead.

Not bad but durability has me a bit worried
First off disclaimer: This will probably work on 99% of headphones/headsets that have a universal detachable cable.I bought those for my HyperX Cloud Alpha to use with my iPhone SE Gen 2, and I can say it’s one of the better purchases I’ve made for my phone. The buttons do feel a tad bit mushy but I can easily overlook it. The only thing that worries me about this cable is the thinness of the cable itself, whenever I detach the cable from my headset, I feel like it won’t hold up as long as it really should. All in all it’s a pretty good cable.

Very easy to break
Very flimsy. Not worth the cost.

Excellent cord, with easy to use controls
The cord is very strong, is super flexible, and has easy to use controls. Great for use with my ski helmet that has speakers inside. I can jam while I ski, pause music on the lift when talking with my wife. So much better than any other cord I've had - others either are bulky, stiff, or fall apart. You pay more for this one, but it's well worth it.

Works as expected but wire seems fragile
I was initially disappointed when I opened the package to find that the wire on this was very, very thin. I have my doubts that this will hold up for long, especially on the end with the lightning connector. I use this exclusively in my car and ordered it to replace the Anker nylon braided aux cable I had been using on my previous phone that had a headphone jack. The Anker cable was much thicker and very sturdy...not a minute's problem in over a year of everyday use. However, my switch to a newer iPhone required that I update the auxiliary cable to one with a lightning connector and this is the only one I could find that said it would allow calls to be taken when connected.Indeed, it does work as expected...I can play music/podcasts through my car and also take phone calls and hear them through the car speakers. Sound quality is good. This cord was quite a bit more expensive than other lighting/aux cords I looked at. But this one does work for phone calls where others clearly said they did not so that is a plus. Overall, you will have to decide if the ability to accept calls while connected is more important than a heavy duty cord. For the price, I don't think this is a very good value since this flimsy item will probably not hold up for very long.

Thin but durable with no noticeable loss in sound quality
When I first got this cable, I thought it would not last. But the quality of music is the same as with the aux cable and directly hooks up to my IPhone. It is a thin cable but very well built. I have dropped my phone several times and the connection is still really good.
