Fantastic portable speaker
I previously had a DOSS 12w speaker very similar to this one, but my kids broke the AUX port. So I went on the hunt for a replacement. There are a LOT of similar range 6-12w speakers out there, and so many of them just sound horrible. Distort at any decent volume and tinny sound with no bass at all. This speaker is fantastic. There is no EQ, but the default range is great. It can get LOUD and comes on the first time at it's loudest volume, so be warned! It doesn't pop or crack at loud volumes. I use my ipod with it and with a few EQ changes it sounds great. Decent thumpy bass for the size of this speaker. The price for its sound quality and volume can't be beat. Many similar units are easily $40 - $80. And thankfully this one doesn't have any weird/confusing buttons or unnecessary touch screen-like buttons. Sound easily fills a room. In my townhome layout you can easily hear it from the kitchen, around the corner to the living room. You have On/Off, Pause (pause bluetooth or mute), Mode (bluetooth, aux, or card), Volume down, and Volume up. My only qualm with this is that there is some lag when you click a button and when it actually responds. For example, you have to hold the volume button for 1-4 seconds for it to actually adjust. You can't just click the button and expect it to change.

Great sound! Skips too much on Bluetooth
Love this little speaker!! Got it to connect to my echo dot. Works beautifully and sounds great!! Connects to my phone too. A little warning, the bass on this thing is GOOD, and I had it on my bathroom counter while showering and the bass rocked it enough for it to fall into the sink. Thankfully it didn’t fall to the floor and break, but I will be more careful about where I put it from now on!UPDATE: I e reduced the stars on this because now it skips. A LOT. I’ve used it about a month and if I’m trying to play music from my echo dot, it skips no matter how close or far apart they are. Super annoying.

Nice an loud speaker, range not the best, single connection
This is my 4th different blue tooth speaker. This is the loudest one by far, and the biggest one in size. Love the sound quality! Wish the buttons on the top were a different color than the black rubber. Hard to find the volume, skip and on & off button without tilting it so the light hits it just right or turn a light on. I live in a 1200 sq ft ranch house and if I have the speaker in the kitchen and I go into one of the bedrooms, the speaker starts to cut out. Not a huge deal but my last speaker didn't do that. Also, I was under the impression multiple devices can sync at the same time like a party speaker. Not the case with this speaker. My daughter tried to sync with the speaker and it wouldn't show up until I turned my blue tooth off and disconnected it from my iphone. Then, it appeared as a blue tooth option on her phone. Lastly, when you get a call while listening to music, I have selected Iphone only answer and the conversation still plays on the speaker. I have to physically turn the speaker off. For those reasons, I dinged 1 star. For the price and loudness, I think it's a great deal despite the "quirks".UPDATE 3/30/2020: Well for the last 3-4 months this speaker slowly stopped charging. If plugged in, the red light comes on like it's charging but will only stay on for 10 seconds and then goes back out. So now I can't charge it so basically it's garbage. I got about a full year of regular use and I'm going to take away 1 star. Only because I believe a product should be MADE to last 2-3 years before crowding the dumps. If 100K people purchase 1 speaker a year for 5 years, that will add to the real estate needed at the graveyard/dump for these speakers. If I knew this speaker would only last 1 year, I wouldn't have purchased it.Update 4/15/20: I went ahead and got another one because it was super cheap in price. Even if it only lasts 2 years it's only $7 per year. So I got my new one. The speaker would sync but had no sound. I wrote to the seller for suggestions on troubleshooting. Their answer was to get another one which I didn't want to do. So after an hour of watching vids on youtube, I was finally able to fix it on my own. Maybe a troubleshooting guide listed on your posting might be helpful. How I fixed my issue: 1) Right click on the volume task bar (bottom right of your screen) 2) Click open sound settings 3) Make sure the volume button under your device isn't on mute (speaker with an X over it. Mine was and I have NO idea why. This was my 6th speaker I've synced over the years and the 1st time this has ever happened. Anyway, I'm back in business.

Great sound for a small speaker
This is exactly what I wanted. I dont own a lot of updated electronics and wanted to make use of my old mp3 players and storage cards. This speaker can be plugged into most MP3 players with the audio jack, use a micro SD card, or use bluetooth with your phone or tablet. I like to have music when I am working in my yard and in my car since I also have an older car with only a radio. I finally found a speaker loud enough to hear in those situations and it doesnt sound tinny. It has a very nice rich sound. Its quite small so handy to take with. I found a pouch it fits in perfectly to carry with me. Picture shows its size. This is a great price for quality sound.

Pretty nice little unit!
Nice looking little unit. Came with a Type A USB to mini-USB cable and an 1/8" TRS to 1/8" TRS cable. No charger included.Sounds quite good too! Surprisingly clear, not a ton of low end, but certainly adequate for balanced listening. It won't 'rock your world', but it will keep your tunes sounding good while you work (what I use it for). Was a little apprehensive at first because it took over 8 hours to charge (it was completely dead!). Eventually it charged overnight and I used it the following day for 7 1/2 hours and it showed no signs of stopping. Recharged again in about 2 hours and it's back at full power (charge LED out).ADDED LATER ON 12/4/2020:This unit continues to amaze me! It's hard to believe that this unit keeps going and going. I use it constantly, recharge and use it again and it just sounds great. Can't help but wonder when the other shoe is going to drop.
