Make Sure You Know What You're Getting! It's Plastic
As mentioned by other reviewers, these shoes appear to be a knit, but are actually a PRINTED KNIT PICTURE on some kind of man-made product. Once I get them on, they are comfortable. But getting them on is a monumental task. There is no "give" in the "plastic" (that's what I'm calling the material they used). Even when I force my foot into the toe to the shoe, I can not wedge my heel into the back of the shoe. Using force just folds the back of the shoe down. And I can not insert my finger in to pull out the heel once my foot is in there. I guess a shoe horn would work. (Do they still make those?) The material is not a fabric. It is not leather. I think it's a plastic. PRINTED to look like a fabric. I am surprised Skechers let this one slip through. The strangest thing is regardless of how long you wear these, when you take them off, they look like new. Not a crease, not a fold, no sign whatsoever that they've ever been worn. The only reason that I've kept them is that I'm recovering from a fracture in one foot and the tightness of that one shoe is very supportive. So I guess I'm off to find a shoe horn.Got a shoe horn. All is well!

They do their job but will hurt you in the end...
These shoes were great a first and I thought I really found something affordable and comfortable. Well that was two months ago. now that I have worn them everyday to work for 8+ hours, my feet hurt more than now than they did with my old broken in shoes. usually I'm a HUGE supporter of Sketchers. we go to Disneyland a lot and I always have a pair of their walking shoes on. WELL think again with these. The slip resistant bit is ok, I did take a tumble when I slipped on a grape. And almost slipped on ice in the freezer. but for the most part they are just ok.As for the look, they are a bit odd. But not bad. I do really like the fact that they aren't mesh although they look meshy, the plastic like material does keep water and other liquids out. Though with that it also keeps the sweat in, and doesn't breath much.Like I said before, I love sketcher and will buy other types of shoes, I am sad to say these are the most uncomfortable shoes.they are nice and roomy though, getting them on is kind of tight but the toe box is nice...

Don't be fooled by appearances
These are good shoes. Roomy toe box, sufficient arch support. The instep is a tight fit if you have a high instep. What keeps them from being great shoes? Look closely at the photo: see how it appears that the upper looks like mesh and a knit? Well, it isn't. I purchased these shoes for work, where I am in an uncooled warehouse for 9 hours in heat that reaches triple digits. I wanted shoes that were ventilated, like mesh. However, this mesh is just a print, like the knit. All some manmade material, which doesn't breathe at all. I was extremely disappointed, but I needed the shoes, so I wore them anyway. Why would the manufacturer PRINT a mesh pattern on the plastic shoes?

Good Shoes
I work in restaurants 45-50 hours a week, usually 10-12 hours shifts. These held up great for about a year. That's about 4-5 months longer than other shoes I've had. They were comfortable and the non-slip worked well.

You will not be disappointed
I have been in my profession for 22 years and this is the first time ever I have not complain my feet hurt after my shift or started yo hurt during work.. I have flat feet so the arch support is not to high nor bothersome.. and last bit not least it's a solid ahoe.. the hardness scared me in hand but on my feet that was the perfect support and they are water proof and so far sharps/needle proof for me although I haven't dropped anything sharp on them I've had them for a I think over a year and they are still on great condition..

Excellent shoes to protect anyone with a potential exposure to blood or plasma spill!
Love these shoes and appreciate the different colors. I really hope and pray they continue to produce them. I am a nurse, they are great! They protect your feet from blood and fluid spills. They are wide/deep enough to add arch supports. They are excellent for those in healthcare, both men and women. Thank you to the company for making them. Would highly recommend them!!!

Excellent working shoes!
Bought them for my work as a nurse. They fit great and very comfortable which is important for me as I am on my feet all the time. After wearing them for a year now, they still look like new. Very solid shoes.

I recommend sketchers for working women
I’m on my feet all the time while at work. These shoes didn’t even need breaking in. They are very comfortable from the get go. Nice sturdy construction. Will buy again if ever needed.

Disappointed
Im very discouraged with sketchers shoes this past while. Over the past few months i have been looking for a good pair of work shoes as I'm on my feet all day. I have ordered several different styles of sketchers all being stated as being good walking shoes, having memory foam for comfort and having good support. I have been wearing sketchers shoes for work for a few years and have loved them until now. They have become heavy, hard no give in the sole and the memory foam has no give at all. I've given up on sketchers and won't order any style again. They sure aren't what they used to be!!!
