Be careful taking out the old battery
Unfortunately,, I really cannot review this battery because the old one caught fire in my hand while trying to replace it, and destroyed the phone. I’m sure the battery works great, but I would caution anybody to really read up before you pull the old one out.

Brought an old iPhone 6 Plus back to life
I've had an old iPhone 6 Plus for years. It stopped working years ago because the battery went completely dead. Nothing could bring it back to life, not even plugging it in. Once the battery dies, Apple phones are rendered useless. And all rechargeable batteries die eventually. It's called "planned obsolescence". As the battery dies and the flash memory fills up, your phone gets slower and slower and your battery life gets shorter and shorter. That's when Apple just counts on you forking over another $1000 to buy a new phone.Apple makes it almost impossible for you to replace the parts inside. You have to buy a specialized screwdriver just to get in, and then once you do you feel like Indiana Jones avoiding one booby trap after another to do what you need to do. Again, this is by design. Their product design used to be friendly to hobbyists and amateur repair people who just wanted to tinker. Those days are long gone. But thanks to YouTube and merchants like this, I was able to give my old phone a second life. The first thing you need to do is search YouTube for instructions on replacement an iPhone 6 Plus battery. You won't get any instructions with this product, but that's okay as there are much better tutorials out there than the manufacturer could have come up with. What's nice is that this kit doesn't just come up with the battery—which looks identical to the OEM—wrapped in a protective shielded bag, but also a number of tools, including a number of torx and philips screwdrivers that are the perfect fit for this model, as well as a suction up to help separate the screen and plastic tools to pry open the case.I was able to get the old battery out and this one fit like a glove. And for the first time in probably 4 years, the beautiful Apple logo appeared and it asked for me passcode. All my old photos and videos were still there, just as I left them. The cost of this thing is under $25. The benefit is the satisfaction of knowing that you beat Apple, revived your old iPhone, and was able to bypass hours of wasted time at "bars" with "geniuses" and hundreds of dollars to get your phone working again. Which is priceless. There's not a whole lot you can do with an iPhone 6 these days, but if nothing else is makes a great backup if I ever need it, a working phone has a lot more resale value than a dead phone, and I can give it to my kid to do simple things like play games or take pictures. This was definitely one of the best purchases I made recently, but be forewarned that its really only for someone who is very familiar with how to take apart phones (or has the patience to learn).

iPhone 6S+ Battery
We had an old 6S+ that we let the kids use to play games, but the battery was completely shot. We tried using battery pack cases for a while, but they were either super bulky, broke quickly, or both. We had been contemplating taking it into a repair shop and paying to have the battery replaced, but when I saw we could get this and do it ourselves we decided to give it a shot. My husband had worked for apple in the past and has replaced many a battery so he felt very confident in replacing this one. I was a little more hesitant, but when I saw others had just searched up some videos and were able to replace it themselves I felt a little better about it. I shouldn’t have worried at all because he said this set has everything he needed, and this battery looked just like the factory one. I think the hardest part was getting the screen off, but this came with a tool to help with that. He was able to replace it while I was getting the kids down for bed and he said it was pretty easy. The battery works great!! So excited that the phone actually holds a charge now! Very impressed.

Battery works, tools are flimsy, and no adhesive
I ordered the upgraded battery for my iPhone 6 Plus because I needed a reliable replacement. The battery works well and has restored my phone's performance. However, I found the included tools to be quite flimsy and not very reliable. I also wish the kit had included adhesive for easier future battery replacements. Overall, while the battery itself is solid, the tool quality could use some improvement.

Initial Impressions: Battery/Phone Gets Hot!
Well, the battery pack seems to be well made and the kit comes with a nice compliment of all the tools needed to crack open the phone and install the new battery, but the kit did not come with double-sided tape to secure the battery in place (I had some on hand and used my own). The phone is working perfectly and the battery seems to be taking a charge (it was about 50% charged when I received it). The greater than usual heating of the phone/battery may be due to my concurrently swapping from one service provider to a new provider, or from charging (though I was charging only briefly and disconnecting the charger intermittently to use the phone). I will update this review once I have a full charge on the phone and it has had time to rest and I have a chance to put it to some normal use.Stay tuned for update.UPDATE:I was able to charge the phone from 50% to 100% overnight and give it time to rest. I checked the progress of the charging periodically in the evening to try and gauge how fast the battery was charging, and it seemed a bit on the slow side. It's quite possible that Apple has OEM sensing technology on their batteries and won't allow quick charging, or that the battery simply does not support the higher charge rates that have become so common these days, or that the iPhone 7 Plus simply does not support those faster charge rates. I can't gauge it based on my experience with it since the battery was installed in my mother's iPhone, and she is elderly and doesn't use the phone except for occasional calling and emergencies, and wouldn't be able to judge based on experience anyway. So at this point, it's anyone's guess about this battery and fast charging. Nevertheless, the phone did manage to charge fully overnight (probably was done within a few hours, I didn't check except early in the evening) and it does seem to be holding a charge well and providing reliable power to the phone. In any case, it's hard to go wrong with this battery it seems, especially for the price, and especially if you're not too concerned about fast charging.
