This stuff is awesome. I recently had work done and was a two session tattoo. After the 1st session I started using the gel and it truly felt like it sped up the process. Within a week I was done peeling and close to fully healed. By the next session (3 weeks later) it was completely healed. I thought maybe I got lucky? So I used it again after the 2nd session and same thing, pretty much done, scabbed and healed alot quicker than in the past.This stuff feels light and cool when you put it on. Careful because when you squeeze the tube, you either get a tiny bit, or a gigantic squirt and get too much. It’s all good stuff so I just use it on my older tattoos to not waste it.Anyway, this stuff is great. Does not feel greasy at all.

---update!!---The one problem I had with this stuff is solved! The one way valve makes it hard to control how much comes out.... Just unscrew the cap and it works perfectly!----____This is the stuff to put on your tattoo as it is healing. This stuff works differently than just lotion. It is cooling which is nice for itching and it moisturizes well. It creates a film over the tattoo that keeps it moisturized longer. If you are wearing loose clothes or if the tattoo is in an open area its perfect stuff..... If it is in an area that has tighter clothes or if your clothes have any lint it is a bit of a sticky mess. I had it on my thigh while I was sleeping and woke up with linty sticky mess that I had to wash off my leg. It was like a patch of felt on my leg. It was kind of funny, but I wont use it there again. Also my clothes would stick to it there. It was perfect on my ankle and my wrist. Also the container is...difficult. it has a one way valve in it which is kinda good as it keeps air from getting in and it keeps longer. However if you have a small tattoo, get ready to Always have too much. You have to put enough force on the tube that you cant just get a tiny little dot of the stuff you have to put enough force to make the valve disengage and you have a quarter sized splotch every time. So I really like this stuff....when it works..... And now it will because I can just unscrew the cap and get exactly what I need!

Previously used petroleum based balms and ointments and color always was drawn out. This product is amazing. Used it right after my last 2 tattoos and will never use anything else again. Doesn't draw out color, heals well, goes on easy and not a greasy, petroleum feel.

I used the Mad Rabbit Soothing Gel on a new tattoo and was genuinely impressed. It gives an instant cooling effect that helps reduce itching and discomfort during the healing process. The formula feels clean and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue.

Great product, and easy to apply. Feels good on the skin and definitely soothes the tattoo itching and peeling phases. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because the residue like feel on my hands after use. I have to wash my hands after application.

I absolutely love this stuff. I’ve had a large tattoo that I’ve had done in two different sessions about 8 months apart, both are healing beautifully. I have found this product helps a lot with itchiness and with the peeling process. It keeps everything moist but not overly moisturized while soothing tender, red skin. It gets a little tacky on my hands after applying it but it doesn’t make my tattoo stick to my clothes or feel tacky. It doesn’t leave any hazy residue on the skin. I’ve found less is more. I apply it at least 3 times a day initially after washing the area. I gradually decrease the frequency as everything heals up. I won’t use anything else at this point, I’m a huge fan!

I used to use aquaphor for healing my tattoos and then decided to give mad rabbit soothing gel a try and oh man I love it! Feels so light weight, doesn’t leave a greasy residue. Has a very faint aloe scent to it. I love that it’s got all kinds of healthy ingredients for healing my skin after some new ink. I do tend to take to whole top off to squeeze out a little bit because a little bit goes a long way and the top of the container sometimes lets out too much at once. That doesn’t detract from the quality for me though, like I mentioned just unscrew the top and the issue is resolved. This will be my go to for healing all my tattoos going forward. Combine it with the unscented tattoo balm stick if it feels a little dry after 24-48 hours and you’re golden. Highly recommend!
