Works great
It's not a silencer, it's a exhaust flap/cover which works great and it's very easy to adjust. Only thing is the bolt where the flap pivots up gets a lot of vibrations off the exhaust and it could be annoying for someone running a machine all day. I used it on a old backhoe we use only to load bulk salt into our dump trucks so I don't care but to some others that may mean something in a all day working environment. The paint is really thick too which I like as it shouldn't rust out like the old one I replaced that came with the machine.

I bought these for my exhaust so rain would not fill up inside... It mostly works but there is still a lot of water that gets in there.
