Solid case, good in hard use environments.
Best things: Waterproof with charge port closed (drinks/food/dust/etc), screen protector protects, tough enough to take a beating. Purchased for my 11 y/o child with autism who has broken on avg a tablet every other month including 7 ipads. Most were cracked/crushed screens but we lost 2 to being dunked in water. So far in 6 months neither of the ipads that now use these cases have been broken. The screen can be a little hard to click around the edge but that is an easy trade off for it surviving being droped, thrown, drowned with no apparent damage. Only one slight issue the lightning port is a little difficult to get through the hole with an apple cable and some aftermarket ones won't fit but again easy trade off. Some people may find it heavy but It is both slimmer and lighter than other "tough" "waterproof" cases on the market. Would recommend to a friend and when needed will buy again dictated this time hopefully by Apple instead of destruction.

Top3 cases that I know. And it worth the money
I am a very long time iPad user and also a loyal fan of Otterbox defender. However, it could be a little troublesome to me as I switched to back to iPad standard size. It is too heavy, particularly as I would use it one hand. My mini iPad used Supcase, well, marginally lighter but not that light. Then, I found this gadget and I love it. And I would share my thought here.Light, really rigid(I mean it maybe even tougher than Supcase as the latter one have slim frame). Beautifully crafted rim make it easy to grip.As for the WR functionality, I did not test it as I am still afraid of lose it, I only tried water splash, it stands like a rock, super solid. The rubber rim left me a deep impression (though it feels a little too hard, I want to minus 5 points but still allow a 5 stars.Generally, my view is: this is the lightest but among toughest case you can find in the market. Seriously, I recommend it.

Passes the waterproof test
So i picked this waterproof case against the other ones available since it showed on those other product pictures they had 3 buttons on the volume side as where it seemed here that this one had 2 (given as theres only 2 volume buttons) but the pictures given here are misleading aside from the front view. The package comes with a should strap, a stand which you can adhere on the back (comes with tape on it) and a microfiber cloth so you can have a clean installation (though it seems to drop parts of the cloth itself becoming a nuisance). On to the case itself, the material feels rugged and a pretty good and solid build, the clear plastics which form the screen and back protectors are good quality as they don't seem too flimsy or would scratch easily, the front plastic has a black ring where the home botton is and the plastic within there is thinner to allow the fingerprint sensor to work, which it works without a problem and recognizes the fingerprint like it would normally, the black ring is a bit off center so if you have OCD it will probably bother you, but i don't mind it.The headphone jack port tab is easy to open and close but the charging port tab is alot more harder to open and mine seems to have either arrived with a small tear on the side or it tore the first time i opened it to test (as i've only opened it twice), the power and volume bottons on the case have hard to press buttons but the cause of them being hard to press seems to be that the gap between the buttons on the case are a tad too far from the buttons on the iPad but given that i use the assistive touch for the volume control, home button and lock screen, its no big concern for me.The package came with instructions on how to do the waterproof test which i did it including a paper towel inside the case and put it at the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket for 30mins, after the 30mins and drying the outside of the case, the inside was very much dry and the paper towel had no moisture absorbed so thats a good test pass, it also has a checklist where it asks for drop tests to check if the seems pop out or disalign but i won't bother with those, since installing the case with no dust or particles is a hard thing to do.Took one star off given that the charging port tab already has a small tear on one side, and that the pictures were misleading (as i was expecting the back part to not have that big wall on the top).

Haven't submerged it, but great to protect iPad from incidental splashes
Easy to install over iPad, seems well made. Against recommendations, I did use it on an iPad that does have a tempered glass screen protector; I believe the danger is that the tempered glass makes the fit of this cover snug enough that it might create enough pressure to crack the screen, especially on heavy impact. I decided to take a calculated risk as I wanted to be able to use the iPad on the beach without worrying about incidental water damage, but at the same time, I didn't want to leave the screen unprotected from impact at other times, as the tempered glass is not something that can be easily removed and replaced as needed. I decided to just try to be extra careful to keep the iPad from the chance of excessive pressure on the screen while this additional protector was on. I had no intention/need to use the iPad underwater or even in the water, so I didn't even bother testing it for submergeability, but it did provide peace of mind when using the iPad near water.

Lasted 6 months
We will replace it probably with the same thing TBH. But I do wish they would upgrade it to last longer/be more scratch resistant and not fall apart so quickly. Also more colors would be great. At $40 for half a year I'm not convinced...the home button cover was worn away by then, and some ports just seem worn down too. The perimeter still works, but the screens themselves are also scratched to heck, which happened by about 2 months in with maybe 24 hours per week use. We use it for work and as an AAC device so it is unfortunate it doesn't hold up as well as I expected. Also rather it had MORE of a silicone bumper not thinner, though aesthetic the main function is protection....as why they seem to not care to make more colors. For our other tablet we have a case that's not water resistant like this, but it's lasted two years now without issue. And was cheaper. The water resistant feature did seem good enough until about 5-6 months in. But I'm hoping for improvements!

Does The Job
Using it to protect my iPad onboard a sailboat. It's had a few splashes on it but I don't intend to immerse it. Touch screen works very well and audio is better than expected.

Very similar to the one I previously had and died
Very similar to the one I previously had and died because the plug that prevents the water to come in where the tablet can be plugged died on me. The last one lasted about two years, and I hope this one that seems a little stronger will last longer. Unfortunately, some of my cords cannot be used to plug in. Have to use only the Apple cords.

Screen is wonky
The screen protector does not sit flat and leaves large visible air bubbles. This makes it difficult to see the screen.
