Style Arc Sewing Pattern - Simply Sally Top (Sizes 04-16)

Large pattern, well printed. On quality light weight paper, about 3½' × 5½' ft. print out area. Not made of delicate tissue paper. So it will stand up to lots of reuse. I am very happy with this product over all and am excited to get to work on it.

Looks pretty and easy to make. Unfortunately, you need fabric that looks the same inside and out since the top of the triangle folds wrongside out. I think the pattern would benefit from a slit to thread one side through for the wrap to lay smoother, also.

Simple beautiful patern for all sizes!

I thought this would be a good pattern for my beginner level skills . It’s not . There are no markings or directions to speak of . A serger would be required to make it look even half decent , and your fabric can’t have a right and wrong side . While it’s a great design, it would have to be modified to sew with a regular sewing machine and fabric with a reverse side . An experienced sewist could modify and adapt with the right equipment, notions, and twice as much fabric ,but it’s little more than a very expensive extra large piece of paper to the novice .

I am an experienced seamstress having made hundreds of items of clothing from sewing patterns from Vogue, Simplicity, McCall and others, I am so disappointed that this pattern comes with absolutely NO instructions. Of course, I can guess what parts go where, but who wants to guess? Mistakes in sewing are costly in time and money. Not acceptable.

It’s not clear from instructions how to attach pattern piece #3/Lower panel ends.
