Calico CrittersTown Boutique Fashion Set, 36 months to 96 months

Very cute. Nice quality, as all Calico Critters accessories are. It will go nice with other pieces I bought to make our dress shop.

My children love the Calico Critters. They now have a small village worth, and they will periodically play with them for hours at a time. Then, after a week or so, they move on to something else, but eventually come back around to their critter town. The figures themselves are very well built, with great details. My kids routinely request additional figures to add to their collection, and I have learned that if I want some extended alone time with my husband, just give them a new set of figurines and my husband and I can also play uninterrupted for hours :-)

As with all calico critters products, this was expensive for teeny tiny pieces. I thought the vanity was so beautiful though I just had to have it for our calico critters mansion. I used candlestick adhesive to lightly secure the bottles into place on the set because, if you do not, they are so tiny they fall right over and are very difficult to place. This peace really adds a lot to the bedroom and I love posing the characters doing their makeup and getting ready for the day with my daughter.

Over 40 years ago, my Dad designed & built me an enormous customized dollhouse. As a child, I was extremely protective of it & didn’t play with it very much as I felt it was a keepsake. Since summer 2014, I have experimented with different furnishings. The rooms are 17” deep & a little more than 9” wide. The Calico Critters (Families), Furniture & Accessories Sets are the PERFECT size! Plus, due to dollhouse rooms’ size, I’m able to place up to 3 different furniture/accessories sets as well as move around any of the CC sets’ pieces as they are cohesively designed - Including with the now discontinued 2014 sets! My wish is to find a CC Vanity Table Set & the Toy Box Set which are listed on eBay but are also terribly overpriced because apparently they’re difficult to find. I wish you could get those sets in-stock for a more reasonable price because even with this set costing $11.99, the total amount was around $22 (rounded off) due to tax + S&H.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old daughter who is obsessed with these. I cannot wait until Christmas morning when she opens up the 20 sets we got for her from Amazon. Great selection and the prices are better than buying at Walmart!

This set is more attractive in person. I thought the gold looked cheap online, but out of the package it’s really a cute set.My only complaint is with the hang bar on the clothing rack. It isn’t metal and doesn’t run the length of rack like it did on pervious versions of similar sets. It is still cute and holds 2-3 dresses, but you couldn’t really add more hangers to it.

It’s pretty cute except, the bottles keep on falling down which would be annoying, and kinda pricey for just the vanity for 9.71, it should be at least 5 dollars, also the eye shadow plate, the brush keeps falling and I lost it several times, but the quality is good, and it’s still really cute, I recommend mostly all the things I said, but if you’re gonna get annoyed of falling bottle put super glue. 5/10 I would say

I have bought many, many Calico Critters or Sylvanian Families sets for my 4 grandchildren ages 3-6. They love playing with them. With the sets that come with tiny pieces, I take away half so when one goes missing there is one to spare. With the Cosmetic Beauty Set I took four bottles away and attached the other four with double backed tape. I did the same with the make up brush. The little fingers pick them up easily and put them back. We’ve not lost the brush and maybe only one bottle. This works for the supermarket shelves, the Doctors office, etc. Silverware is tricky, but we haven’t run out yet.

Bonita tienda de Chocolates. Muy detalladas las piezas y de buena calidad. Solo que si son muy pequeñas y pueden perderse fácilmente. Hay que tener mucho cuidado. No lo recomiendo para niños pequeños menores de 3años
