We built a new home and the living room ceiling was much taller than we expected (there's a loft on the second floor). There was quite the echo when we first took occupancy. Since we have horizontal beams, someone had the bright idea of using a material to make a baffle. We cut a length and anchored it on the first beam and the last and draped it over the other beams in between. It is not only very attractive, but helps baffle some of the conversation in the living and dining areas. We installed it ourselves Oct 2022 and it is holding up very well. Keeping it's shape. And it's just the right shade of darkness for our area. We get lots of compliments.

The burlap at the big orange store has "threads" that are thicker but also very far apart, a loose weave. I was looking for something tighter (less cold airflow), and this one is. Edges are serged (hopefully that's the right term).

I used this to build sound-absorbing panels. Photo shows the front of one of the panels, and you can see the tightness of the weave. This product has not been processed to remove the natural jute scent, so you might want to give the fabric a good airing out if that's a problem.

The fabric is smooth, not what I would call hairy and without slubs or defects. I used it to cover the gridwall of display booth for paintings.

I used this burlap to make an Oogie Boogie costume this passed Halloween. This material did the job well!

I purchased this to help start seed sprout on a section of my lawn that I replanted. I will say this is not the loosely woven typical lawn type burlap. This is a tight weave, meant more for decorative type crafts. Perhaps a table cloth or something similar. It still accomplished its goal, so I am happy. The dog stayed out of the dirt and the seed sprouted.

Used this for tablecloth overlays. Looked nice. Needed to air out for a few days to get out chemical smell

Nice tight weave burlap. My roll had a half inch thick run across the width 3' into the roll that affected my project.
