I’ve recently discovered how much I love matte lip color. I live in Colorado, and we have a lot of windy/breezy days, and this lip color dries quickly so I don’t get hair stuck on my lips when I’m outside.The negative is that in the first color I opened and used less than 1 Day, the applicator tip stuck in the gloss and the rest of the wand came out of the tube. So, now I have a fully unusable tube of lip color. I’ve moved on to the second color with the hopes that I have a chance at using 80% of these colors to their fullest potential.

It was certainly not waterproof after maybe twenty minutes. You really do get what you pay for. It became matte after two minutes, and stayed that way until it rubbed off. If you expect something to be waterproof for 18-24 hours, you may want to look for something a bit more expensive or go to Sephora and get samples to try. It was good for the cost.

I was really looking forward to this matte lipstick as it states that it stays on all day. However, it doesn’t stay on and I found it to dry my lips. It goes on smoothly enough, but dries and cakes on the lips and does not look at all flattering. I tried using lip balm underneath prior to application and this helps reduce the cracked appearance of the lipstick on the lips but unfortunately it comes off much easier when applied over lip balm. You also have to apply multiple layers of the lipstick to get the desired shade. Save your money and invest in lipstick that actually stays on lips as advertised.

These lipsticks do what they say the do.. they Stay On..Overall ok product, but I wasn't crazy about the colors I ordered.

Matte stays on well. Nice colors to chose form!
