Love these magnetic rulers!
I LOVE these magnetic rulers! I use the ruler to keep track of what line I am on in a knit, crochet, cross stitch or friendship bracelet pattern. The other way I use the magnetic ruler is to keep my paper in place when I'm crafting cards. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Not holding up well
Magnet worked well and loved then at first, but unfortunately they arenโt holding up well. Only used a few times and canโt even see the marks.

Flexible and versatile
I used these to make easily adjustable scales for a portable sawmill - I drew lines on them at the 4/4, 5/4 and 6/4 distances.

A wonderful kitchen tool for the measurement-challenged.
I have rather poor spatial relations skills and one problem I have is that when a recipe says "cut in 2-inch slices" I don't have a good mind picture of what that looks like. I suddenly thought one day, "What if I had a magnetic ruler on the fridge? I wonder if there is such a thing?" And lo, there is, and I bought it. I'm very happy with this new tool and keep finding new uses -- such as measuring baking pans that don't have the measurements on the bottom. The one quibble is that the magnet is very strong and it's a little difficult to get off the refrigerator. But I'm not downgrading it for that because I'm a nailbiter and that's my own fault.

Flexible with strong enough magnetic hold for several pieces of paper
Flexible with strong enough magnetic hold for several pieces of paper. Perfect for needlepoint/ craft patterns & creating patterns on graph paper. I am using these more than I expected to. Great little find.

Would've Given 5 Stars if not Torn Down the Middle
This is exactly what I was looking for. It's a shame that it was unnecessarily folded for shipping.First, what I liked:* It is accurate. Some reviewers state that this is not an accurate ruler. I've just measured it w/ a Stanley measuring tape & it's accurate. One thing to note is that, unlike the usual ruler, these start measuring about 1/8" from the edge (whereas the ones most commonly sold/used go from edge to edge).* Strong magnet. Once flat against a whiteboard, it will not slide. Perfect for using as straight edge w/ dry-erase markers.I really like this ruler. It is exactly what I was hoping for.Why 2 stars:It's ripped right down the middle. I am going to have to be very, very, VERY careful w/ this so that it doesn't come apart (currently held on by not much more than plastic film over ruler and magnet).I would have given this item 5 stars if it hadn't been folded and torn during packaging. The worst part about this is that it doesn't make sense to fold when it would fit just fine if extended diagonally. It comes in a box that could fit an unabridged dictionary. There is absolutely no need to fold this item.

Not firm
These are some really flexible buggers! If you need a firm Catholic school teacher ruler, youโll be disappointed with the flexโฆ

Great strong magnets
I was looking for magnet strips to use for keeping track of my current line on knitting patterns.I have a metal stand, and these rulers are perfect.I also have a couple metal sheets, so I will be able to use the other rulers at the same time. They hold papers on the frig firmly, too.

Absolutely perfect
I own a portable-sawmill (well, mines in place but yeah) and I bought these to make a custom lumber scale(s) for 2x4, 2x6, etc and these worked perfect for what i needed. Just measure your proper lengths and make a mark at 2" 4" and 6" on the rulers with your kerf accounted for and works beautifully. No calcs needed, just make your cant, set the ruler up, and lower to the lines and cut.

Magnet works but imprecise inch markings
I purchased these magnetic rulers to hold down cardstock or parchment paper to a metal-backed board while crafting. The magnetic element works great as the paper doesn't shift even if I tilt the board vertically. The one flaw which made this 4 stars: the inch markings aren't precise enough for my use. All my other rulers are identical but this one starts out at 1/64th of an inch too wide at the 1" mark and increases to a bit over 1/16th of an inch too wide by the 12" mark. It may not seem like much, but I do need the precision for fancy folds, cutting, and even finding the centre of the paper. As a result, I can't rely on the markings as I had hoped to do.

Decent
It shows signs of stress marks where it was folded in half. This is the way they ship it so its smaller but the side effect is stress marks. Wish it came in perfect condition but it still works.
