Yes, it has wire J clips that work very well and hold the hair on the roller easily. Just wind your hair on the roller then push the longer end of the clip under the roller as you are holding it in place with your fingers!

Not the clamps, metal pins. They work well for me. And my hair is pretty short and they hold the roller well. Hope this helps

Can i use other pins to keep it together? Theyre not enough

I use some claw hair clips, which are easier for me to use. Can be bought at many stores.
