Styccobond F1 - Rubber Latex Adhesive for Carpet Edge Sealing (5ltr)

great adhesive for rug making, tufting, punch needle work etc. would recommend. Drys a light natural latex yellow, not clear.

I had a rug where the backing had perished and came away and another that had a hole in the rear. I used this glue for the hole to make the fibres stable and had something to stick into and to paste the backing back on the other like wallpaper both sides and stuck them together before they dried as I found they wouldn't stick otherwise. Once dried it's not going to come undone. Very Good and saved 2 rugs from extinction. I've still got some left 2 years later and it still works even though the packaging says it goes off after so many months. It;s a bit like copydex glue.

Works exactly as it should, Could be cheaper. Be wary though, this stuff stinks. either keep the area well ventilated. Takes considerably longer to dry in a colder environment like a garage for example.

I'm a carpet fitter and this stuff drys like a rubber band!! it's works awesome for delamination on carpet backing, holds carpet to the gripper like nothing else and stops fraying in high traffic areas.

Image shows how the product arrived. Bottle is bashed in and there was tape around the lid, for the price I think this is poor. There should’ve been a disclaimer / discount if the product was going to be sent this way.

Latex glue!I use it to glue the back of my tufted rugsDrys really fast compared to other glues I have tryed for the same job.This reminds me of masking fluid it's easy to come off surfaces when dry.
