A solid and dependable connector
I used these on a mobile ham radio to be able to quickly and easily be able to use the radio between multiple vehicles and my base station. I soldered the connectors on and used a needle nose to bend the tabs over. The rubber boots make for super clean looking install as well as a protective cap when not in use. They also work great for R/C cars.

Comparable to the band name
These are good quality and similar to the Anderson power pole brand. I changed our all of my power connectors with these.

Good not perfect, has advantages and disadvantages
I suggest you better be careful how you install the pin in your crimper, and as you squeeze just a little bit, make sure that the side of the pin crimp is going into the slot properly. If it's not I suggest you move it just a tiny bit using a small needle nose plier. Then you can finish squeezing.Another thing, this did not work with PowerPole locking pins. With the OEM connectors, the pin will keep two connectors locked into position side by side permanently. When I insert a pin into the connectors in this kit, the two connectors separated. I suppose the little dovetail joints have a lower tolerance than the OEM versions. Without that ability to place the retaining pin, I suggest that you please be very exact about your wire lengths so both red and black come out in line.Saving grace of this product is the sleeves, which I think maybe the OEM does not sell. I do believe that none of these piece parts are OEM. I do like the sleeves for protecting connectors against mechanical damage. They also look good.Maybe this kit is best for somebody like me who doesn't need to use 10 gauge very often. Again, sometimes I'm using 10 gauge for mechanical strength because I expect something is going to get rough duty, not necessarily because I need all that amperage.I didn't try it with PowerPole retaining clips. Those are different from the retaining pins. When two pairs of connectors are hooked up, a clip keeps them all locked into position. I don't know if a sleeve or hood or cover or whatever you call it will fit, if a retaining clip is in place. Maybe somebody else can tell us.

Pretty good connectors
These are some of the better powerpoles I've found. The contacts accepted the crimp with no issues, and the tab inside the housing doesn't deform.

Got the job done
Not the best quality, but just what I needed to wire a harness for my father's wheelchair.

Incredible product love the rubber boots
If you're in ham radio or emergency services or anything like that and you're looking for the best connector I recommend this set purely because it comes with the rubber boots unfortunately it does not come with the Locking pin but it doesn't really move around at all with the rubber boot anyways something I always found that helps if you're not using the Locking pin make sure to side that slides in from The Wire end always has a little more pressure on it instead of having completely even cuts and I bought this sat versus the one without the rubber boots just because I was going to be converting some extension cords to DC Anderson ports and I found that if you're going to be using anything with an outside casing like an extension cord or most AC cords the rubber boot makes it a all around more cleaner look I recommend it and it's a great way to recycle old extension cords as long as you check that there's no resistance between the two polarities

Do not buy. The fit is too small. Headaches.
Do not buy. These are nothing but trouble. They are too small for the pin to fit into and the ends lock together where you need to pull apart with plyers .
