These hot packs are easy to deploy, and they stay hot for at least a half an hour or better. They have come in handy many times. I even use them when I don’t have a heating pad available and I have a migraine. They work great.

I bought these for my daughter who is a competitive dancer. She gets cold really easily, and if she's cold and shivering before she goes on stage, it can be dangerous for some of the movements she makes. I thought these would be a great solution that she could take backstage and keep her muscles warm. They can be difficult to 'break', which isn't a huge deal, I guess I would rather that than them accidentally activating in a bag or something.However, once you activate them, they get super hot, and then instantly cool. Like, cools to room temperature within 15 minutes, so the warmth is only functional for about five. HUGE waste of money. I would have been better off buying her a bunch of hot hands. Extremely disappointed.
