The best elbow out there.
Definitely buy this item. I bought two for my laundry remodel and they worked great. They are sturdy, fut the pipes nice, and THEY SWIVEL. Once they are on, you can still adjust the position because of the swivel feature. They are a true 90 degree elbow that saves you a lot of space

Perfect fit!!!
I know this sounds stupid writing a review for an elbow. Here has been my experience in most of these types of fittings. Sometimes they fit sometimes they fit but just a pitch tight and sometimes they are to big. I have to say this one was perfect fit for my dryer, i didn’t have to struggle with it it wasn’t to loose, just perfect thank you for a great designed part it’s rare to have this in this day and age.

Great space saver
Perfect. Allowed my dryer duct to hug the wall and save space. Better than flex duct. Wish it was just a bit thicker metal, but it is workable. Good buy for sure.

if installing a pair of elbows with flex between, 2nd elbow difficult to connect.
The so called "female" end, here the smooth end without the ribbing, should be placed over the duct coming out of the dryer and clamped. The 4" ducting, often flexible, then connects to the so called "male" end, slipped over the ribbed end of the elbow... works well and there are clips cut into the male end to hold the ducting in place (I clamped as well). This part of the installation was fine. The instructions didn't address connecting to the flexible ducting between the elbows; not an issue as worked fine.Where there seems to be a problem is when connecting to the 2nd elbow. Now we have the 4" ducting coming into the elbow. While it would seem simple enough to connect just in reverse to what we did above (duct to ribbed male end of the elbow), that isn't correct. The air flow should always pass from a male section into a female section so as to limit lint build-up. And that is what the instructions have you do. The problem is in using the same designed elbow for both ends of the flexible duct. The instructions [correctly] have the ribbed male end (<4") insert into the 4" tailpiece coming from the wall (tight but fits). That leaves the 4" female end to connect to the 4" flexible ducting... that's a problem. Not insurmountable but takes fooling with the ducting (cutting flexible duct ribs in several places to get the diameter small enough so it can slide inside the elbow; trying to tease the ducting into the elbow from the inside). I then used duct tape to hold together. Suggest when connecting, do the elbow to flexible duct 1st and connect to the tailpiece 2nd simply because the 1st step requires reaching inside the elbow, manipulating the ducting, sealing it up, etc.

Perfect for Floor Dryer exhaust set-up with slight modification
If youre reading this you'll know that Condos, Apartments and some homes have the dryer exhaust port located on the floor very close to a wall.. Because of this normal dryer hoses will not work cause the space is so limited. This is the ONLY elbow that worked in my situation. But I needed to actually remove the Spinning side flange (cut through it with a Dermel) what this did is now allowed the elbow to perfectly lay flush on-top of the Floor port. And the weight of the dryer is sealing it as best as possible. Its not 100% sealed but about 95% and has been the best Option for this Specific "Floor Exhaust" application.

Fits well and does the job, but whistles a bit
Good fit and nice tight turn radius. However does whistle a bit, needs a little tape around where the ends swivel.
