I like the 14 in throwers because they are similar to throwing an axe. The balance and weight is what I was hoping for. The metal is cheep but I have seen way worse. The tip will curl on you so I would recommend filing it down a little before you throw. Bring the tip back to were the metal is thicker. The finish will chip off quickly but hey, I have spent a lot more on a lot less.Go Throw Bro ;)

I dabble in throwing every few weeks I'll pick it up again so I wouldn't say I'm a professional by any means but I'm proficient from anywhere to around 5-20ft with these knives. I've thrown them well over 300 times and the only damage they've taken is broken the tips off and a few notches along the edge due to hitting the other knifes that are stuck (the grouping is super close so they tend to hit near the blade or the handles so I'd be very surprised if the tips were still pristine.) I haven't touched up the blades at all because they still stick into the oak tree I'm using as target practice very easily and I don't feel they've taken any drop in performance without the pinpoint tip intact. I would recommend buying more than just 1 so you can spend more time throwing the knives rather than retrieving them from the target I personally have 3. Great option for the price and I use them to throw half turn, full turn, and no spin and they work great in my experience.

Over all they are awesome, but the tips will break off, and if you throw a tight group it will cause it to make the blades start to splinter or get sharp edges. But over all, I love them

Excellent throwing knife. Well balanced, good weight, sharp. I wish it came pre wrapped with some paracord on the handle, that is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars

This is a perfect beginner knife. Point breaks but can easily be ground into a sturdier point. All in all for the money it’s altighttt!

For the price, these have become my favorite throwers. Perfect weight, and size for me. I'm not sure what the one review that said "his broke was all about. Out of 6 of these that I have, I only broke the very tip off 2 of them (from accidentally hitting rocks from wild throws), but 30 seconds on the bench grinder, and they were good as new. I believe they are made from spring steel, and are very durable!

I managed to snap the tips off of all three during my first session. Throwing into simple pine 2x4 screwed onto a ply backing. Its a definite bummer because I really, really like the way these handle. They're big, heavy, and stick in deep. I knew as soon as I saw them, the tip was going to be a problem. It tapers down to too much of a fine point, and as such, just can't handle repeated poundings into wood (or clanking off of other knives, etc). They really are awesome knives, well balanced, but yeah, the geometry leaves something to be desired. For a better option (if you can find them) try the Cold Steel True Flight thrower. Best throwing knives ever, imho.

The media could not be loaded. Right weight to perform a single spin throw in a right range. And safe to perform half spin as well without cutting hand. It’s better than my kunai to be honest

Well balanced. Good weight, so it's easier for novice throwers to learn with. Durable. Large enough to be easily spotted when the kids get a bad throw.

These work well but are quite a bit thinner and lighter than I would have thought. If I had known that I wouldn't have purchased them. In all fairness though they still work well and are easier to make sticks with than shorter lighter knives. So any issue I have with them is only a personal preference.

Made in China. High quality, well finished, sturdy, well balanced and very pointy. Got 2 and recommend these 14 inch knives or the sure flight 12 inch version.
