Excellent material but I was a bit dissapointed by the rather limited instructional part. Would have loved to get more in depth and step by step explanation about for instance the haunches in exercise and the flying lead changes. To me the added value of buying this on top of the 7 clinics DVD's is not that high.

Outstanding
Buck BrannamanSnaffle Bit DVDGreat video for both the beginner and the more advanced rider. It takes you step by step from how to put the bit into the horse's mouth to how to tie the reins safely around the horse's neck to how to use the mecate to how to safely mount the green horse. It is also an excellent video for more advanced riders because it reminds you of some of the important things that you should always pay attention to, such as a soft feel.Shows some very important basic maneuvers that everyone should really focus on. He shows you different exercises on three levels of horses: Green - about ten rides; intermediate - solid in the snaffle but not quite ready for the hackamore; and finished in the snaffle - ready for the hackamore. He lets you know what you can and should expect from each horse at each stage of his development. He also lets you know what you cannot and should not expect from each horse. If you are interested in roping, he also gives you an idea of how you might want to approach it with a green horse. If you want a more detailed idea of what you might want to do, you should check out his ranch roping videos. Overall, this is a fantastic video for any rider of any ability level and for any riding discipline. The quality of the sound and filming is excellent as well.(This review refers to the VHS version.)
