Works with a little modification to the bulb socket

Says it fits 2011 Toyota Rav4. Installer told me the cord was too short. Had to buy one on the spot. The cord was proprietary.

The original bulb opening needs to be modified to fit license plate bulb other than than a bit of work to wire to radio in vehicle. Camera so far works great also the camera works great at night as well.

It is a decent camera and gets the job done. However, be aware: I bought the correct one for my 2007 Toyota RAV4 and it still did not fit as precisely as I expected. This is described by others as well, but I still took the plunge. It needed me to take a really sharp knife and cut, modify and enlarge the bulb socket in a crude way. It hangs a little loose within the original housing space above the license plate, and the prongs are off by 2mm causing the entire housing to tilt a little upwards at the front (luckily not on one side, just titled up a little). Functionally this is ok, but I was expecting a well designed part that truly fits the original housing opening. Also as an FYI, if you are doing this modification in an older car, you should go ahead and buy a license plate bulb and replace it while you are doing this: the bulb number is 168, I recommend getting the 168LL for longer life.

Camera works fine. Wide angle view is very effective. Bulb socket does not fit hole provided. Top of bulb socket does not allow fixture to fit all the way in the opening above the license plate. Installer must improvise. Two stars because of difficult installation.

Worked like magic

The light and camera look good on the car. The only problem I had was that the hole for the bulb needed to be enlarged.
