I purchased these for a recent Disney World trip and they worked very well. You can pretty much forget about trying to stuff the ponchos back into their little balls while out and about. Perhaps, if you feel like it after a long hot day of park-walking and waiting in long lines, you can try stuffing them back into their little balls when you've arrived back at your hotel room - lol. We didn't bother. We simply rolled them up as neatly as possible and stuffed them into a small plastic shopping bag which was then stuffed into one of our backpacks. Next time, I may bring along a gallon ziplock baggie for each one so they can be folded and put into that (less chance of getting other things wet in your backpack).These ponchos are very THIN. Be mindful of this and assist children in putting them on or else they will rip. Luckily, we only had one rip due to one of the children traveling with us stepping on his as he attempted to get up from a sit with it on.I'd say your average 7-8-year-old at just above 40 inches tall could wear these fine and they are suitable for adults (even those wearing backpacks).I attempted to clip one on the side of my backpack and it fell off quickly after bumping into something, so toss them inside your backpack or purse if you carry one with you.I would definitely purchase again -- they came in quite handy and the price was right.

The carrying package for these is great. It's quick and easy to take out and put on. I needed something for a backpacking trip that I have coming up that was a cheap/simple solution and this should fit the bill. It took about 15 seconds to put the poncho on slowly and get it over the pack without tearing. I could get it down to 10 or less, now that I've opened it and it is loose. It'll do in a pinch but I can't imagine it will last too long while trekking through the Alps during the rainy season. I'll only need it to keep me dry long enough to pull out my ground cover so that I can set the pack down and get out the real rain gear.

The toggles attached to the bulb (where the poncho is) is very flimsy. I hung it on my backpack to make sure i had it in case of emergency, and about a week later I noticed the bulb was no longer hanging from the clip. My advice: If you're getting these, either 1.) find a way to better secure it to your items, or 2.) pack it.

We got these as a back up in case it rained on our Florida trip. Man am I glad we had these. Downpour!!! Ponchos held up nicely. Fits a wide range: a grown man and a tiny preschooler. I'm thinking 3 stars instead of 5 because there is no way on God's green earth you're going to be able to roll these back up into the "poke-mon" ball they come in. Well I suppose where there's a will, there's a way - but I was seriously lacking in the "will" department. We tossed them. In my opinion they are useful but not reusable.

Bought these for Disney and only had to actually use them once during our trip. The plastic ball cases kept popping open, which was a pain. In hindsight, I should have taped them shut as well. The ponchos were thin but filled the need. For what you get, they're OK.

Planned a birthday trip to Hershey park but found out it was going to rain the day we were supposed to go :( Bought these suckers and was able to give everyone one to clip to their hip and still have some leftover afterwards for concerts or whatever. Neat little things, good buy!

Good value and product was as expected. I thought the balls were a little bulky and ended up tossing them and just putting the ponchos in a ziploc bag. We've used them in theme parks as well as what seemed like monsoon type rain in Florida.

Cool 1 use poncho ! Used at a Luke Bryan concert. Friends loved them. Everyone had them on their belt buckles just it case it rained. Well concert ended. Then the skys opened up !!! These worked great !!!!!!
