Antique furniture lovers want your furniture to shine????
I am a huge fan of anything that will make old and new wooden furniture shine. I had a friend recommend it and bought two and it is amazing how the wood soaks it in. It is worth the buy --especially if you have antique furniture in your home or office. Formbys has been around a long time, and I would continue to buy this product. It has a lemony smell and you don't really need a lot when you use it. It is greasy...but that is why its called Lemon Oil....

The price 😬
I have used this product for probably 40 years!!! When I needed to replace it I almost fainted when I saw the price😬 but I bit the bullet and ordered it…I’m too embarrassed to tell anyone what I paid for a bottle of lemon oil! That all being said I love the scent, it’s easy to use and my old Hitchcock furniture looks great…

I love Lemons!
I love using lemon oil on my furniture. It is so hard to find these days, so I was so excited when I found it on Amazon. This product not only smells fabulous, but works amazing! It just soaks right into the furniture, without taking off the finish. And it is so reasonably priced! I would definitely buy this over any easy to purchase furniture polish like Pledge (no offense but I love me some lemons!). The product is also very easy to use.As a side note, lemon oil also is a great stain remover on clothing and fabrics. My mom taught me that, and I have been able to get some deep stains out that I never thought I would get out!

Expensive for Quality
This product is high quality, but expensive. I have found local products at the grocery store that work just as well. It does have a nice scent and is easy to use.

Very easy to use
My husband refinishes gun stocks. He uses this product. This is what he says: After removing finish and degreasing, I use Formbys to put the oils back into the wood. It works very well and brings out a luster from the wood. It is a very thin fluid and goes easily into the wood. I usually apply 2 coats. It is very easy to use. I think it’s the best.

Very good product for your wood furniture.
I used this product many years ago and liked it. Couldn't find it anywhere and finally found it on Amazon. Used it on all my wood furniture, it needed it and looked much better. Good product!

Formby's Lemon Oil
Absolutely the BEST! Thank You Ernie, from Ernie's Guitar Repair in N.J.The best axeman in the Tri-State area, and excellent musician. This Lemon oil IS the bomb you, once again are on point!I had a MAJOR DISASTER on my NEW baby Angelic White Brand New GIBSON Reverse Flying "V"I thought I was going to kill myself! An old strap I took out of the closet had a charcoal like foam in the middle of the material on the shoulderpart of the strap. I used it several times since you tweaked it into perfection. I started to notice some black around the strap posts on the guitar.I was not too worried at that point. Then I played it a few more times with that same strap and had it back in the case, took strap of of course yet kept itin the case. As we know Ernie, that baby white V was just perfect and the case of cream colored white was all starting to look a littleZebra-ish then I noticed it was that darn strap disintegrating! The foam was falling apart in a dusty coal like fashion! I was FREAKING OUT!We talked, I got this Formby's Lemon oil and a Almond luster oil. WOW! GREAT! It took it ALL out! Thank YOU, thank GOD, and thank the people at Formby's!

Foul odor. Not lemon oil.
I bought this product based on reviews about how great it smelled. I needed a wood treatment for a custom bass guitar with a bare neck. I applied this oil on the neck and noticed an odd smell. It didn't smell of lemon at all but more like soap. If you ever smelled Ivory soap you know the smell I'm talking about. It's pungent. Unfortunately I can't wipe it off because it's a raw wood the substance was soaked into the grain. I don't even want to play the instrument it smells so bad. I don't know how they can get away with saying this is lemon oil. I see no ingredients listing on the bottle so who knows what it's actual made of.If you're looking for lemon oil, buy lemon oil. This doesn't appear to be. This is false advertisement to me.
