Easy to use, great steamer!
Very quick to heat. Not too heavy and easy to use. So far steamed all my curtains smooth with it, including velvet which looks very creased after washing. Good instructions come with it and a couple of heads for delicates etc..

Didn't like it at first...
The heated sole plate seemed to be as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike, and the steam slot looked like a design flaw as oppose to the evenly spaced holes on the Access Steam version. HOWEVER, having tried it with an ironing board and on the bed, my initial perception has greatly improved.Okay, it still does a decent job on most clothes i.e. blazers/jackets, t-shirts. chinos etc. whilst upright steaming (I do use the brush or delicate attachment to prevent that unsightly shine). But for more stubborn wrinkles and the shirts, it works best when used with the ironing board. I have not used my iron in over a month and cannot say I miss it. The heated sole plate coupled with steam works just as well if not better than a traditional iron (but then again, most of my shirts are non-iron cotton).Access+ is reasonably well made, produces very good amount of steam, cable is of ample length, and the turbo function isn't entirely useless.Pleat attachment is borderline functional, door hook could be of better design (rather sharp edges, the U bent could be a bit deeper) and the steamer could most definitely do with a larger reservoir (it never seem to last the said 8-9 minutes).Descaling is simple with 50/50 white vinegar/water solution, run it till dry, do it outdoors or risk smelling like cheap wine.4 stars from meEdit 2 June 2021 - Unlike other makes, including Tefal's own Access (non-plus) steamer, this one doesn't leave a wet trail (or spray hot water) on the clothes because of the heated sole plate. Here comes another star. The turbo button, if used for extended period, stays on (i.e. You cannot switch to normal mode) until the steamer cools down. Not a deal breaker but annoying enough to cost 1 star.Tip - I started using de-ionized water (about pound fifty from "every little helps") with this steamer and even with daily use for the past 15 months, descaling hasn't been required. I steam my work suits daily to keep them fresh and an unintended fringe benefit has been a nil dry cleaning bill

Great product
Does exactly what it says. Great for dresses with frilly bits etc. Only reason it's not 5 stars is it's a bit big and heavy for travelling and the water chamber release button is on the handle so your hand keeps nudging it loose.

Great for dance outfits!
Bought this to get creases out of a tutu, it was amazing! And also used it on a ballet dress and lyrical costume. It’s fab-u-lous darling! Perfect for what I needed it for. It’s a nightmare ironing the ballet dress and lyrical costume, the steamer is great. It also took a musty smell out of one of the outfits. It does take a while to do, but it’s so stress free! No worrying about burning the fabric with the iron.It worked on my curtains too. I’m really pleased with it. Easy to use and great on delicate fabrics.

It's good, but............
This will never replace the results you get from an iron. I gave this a 3 star as it's got pros/cons. The pros? Easy to use, and did a beautiful job on a pleated, chiffon blouse. The cons? For the hubby's work shirts, I still need an iron; plus I found this a bit heavy----my cordless iron is lighter, even when it's water tank is completely filled! This would be good for getting creases out of something that's been in a drawer/wardrobe. Unfortunately, I am returning mine, as after speaking to Tefal, mine has a defect in that the delicate setting will not turn off, it stays on.

Very disappointing product !!!
A. Resting some reliability issues:1. Very severe to my opinion, i got it with drops of water on the inner walls of the tank - it seems that someone bought my device before me, used it, and returned it, and it was sold it to me as a new one (!!!)2. I bought through a group in my country - and was surprised to read that 2 more people wrote that they also received the same product NOT working - from Amazon UK, at the same month i bought it !!!3. Amazon UK should do some home check, because if a used item is sold as a new one- it is unexctable !!!B. As for functionality:1. Amazon did NOT post in the photos that the tank has a very narrow opening - if I would have seen it - I would NOT have bought it, because not having a propare ventalation at the water container - is a platform for growing fungicides !!!2. Very uncomfortable to hold the hand-iron device weigthing, it is too heavy using up and down movements; Guaranteed at least wristws pain.3. In addition, i think it's uncomfortable that the ironing surface is lateral, and no option for using ironing at the length.C. Summary:I am disappointed from that buying !!!

Brilliant - time saving item
Fantastic item - works very well - I can only imagine the bad reviews left are because they haven’t used item as per instructions. You have to press button continuous to get steam pumping. I am very fussy and worked just as well as board and iron a t shirt which was very creased. Fab for bedroom for sorting out creased clothes when you are in a rush. I had been using my iron as a steamer to iron my clothes downstairs and very rarely use the ironing board so really pleased with this item. It is slightly bigger then I thought it would’ve but much easier to use and lighter than trying to steam clothes with my iron.

I shouldn't of bought it instead of an iron
Really good steamer but was surprised at the weight of it. Very chunky and would take up alot of room in a small case and weight. Drinks the medium to small water compartment when on turbo, wish it had more options than just " delicate" and "turbo" but very easy to use.I did buy it instead of a iron (which I probably shouldn't of because they are two totally different types of technology). Even on turbo thicker (denium) materials take ages to de-crease, thinner materials (cotton) it works really fast. Heats up fast but becomes heavy quickly. All round a 6/10
