Definite Upgrade from Other Sleep Sacks!
I love this sleep sack & my baby falls asleep petting himself when he wears it! The fleece is soft and plush but not too heavy - not quite as soft as a jellycat toy, but close. Quality is SO much better than the cheap Halo fleece that pills and gets gross after a few washes! The different zippers are great for ease of changing diapers and keeping baby the right temperature at night. Not quite sure about this being a year round choice for us, but possibly with just a onesie and an open bottom zipper in the summer - for now (winter) we have him in footed jammies & the sleep sack with all zippers zipped with our heat set at 69 degrees. Not quite 5 stars though -- zippers have kind of a plastic/cheap feel but I don't necessarily think they're so cheap that they'll cause an issue- sizing runs really big. I originally asked advice on sizing and went with a medium for my 15lb 27in 6m old and it was HUGE! I ordered a small and decided to keep both, putting him in the small for now and medium later (maybe next year!?). Even the small is big on him - the armpit holes come down to the bottom of his ribs, which means the shoulder part rides up in his sleep. He is strong enough and old enough that I don't worry about this being a suffocation hazard (he actually likes chewing on it) - but I probably wouldn't put a smaller baby in it. I wish they made an XS though.Overall, a great find - definitely an upgrade from any other sleep sack we have tried. Have already recommended to multiple friends.

Great product if they would fix the seams!
I purchased the Gunamuna Sleepsack because I really liked the idea of having a zipper that could open at the base as opposed to just the center zip. We live in an older house and we were concerned that with the crib near a window our 3 month old would get too cold at night. This is a 1.5 weight sack. Overall I am happy with the purchase and really like the design. The one complaint that I would have is that the threads do come undone around the zipper lining and it makes it very difficult to zip. I have been cutting them as they come undone but wonder what this will do to the integrity of the product. We brought this when our daughter was about 3 months and it was quite large around her arms. At the time I just made a few stitches under where her arms were then later removed them as she got older (she is now almost 5 months.)At the time we purchased this we also purchased a Gro Bag in 2.5 TOG for colder nights. Overall I think that I would have just purchased two of the Gro Bags had I gotten that purchase first. In the infant size it also has a bottom and center zipper but it seems to be holding up a lot better seam wise. The main difference is that it has snaps under the armpits to make them smaller and the material is more of a sleeping bag than the fleece of the Gunamuna.Overall a competent product but I wish they would change how they sew in the zippers since my baby does seem to like it.

Runs big but soft and cozy
Sizing is quite a bit bigger than Halo and Summer infant. The bag is soft and has zippers all the way up the front and around the bottom. The arm straps have snaps as well so you can completely undo them, although we never use that feature. I wish some these bags came with sleeves, but most brands don't. The Summer Infant bag does have some nice sleeves that come halfway down the baby's arms but my son outgrew those at a year old. My son is fairly tall, 90% and a large has fit him since he was about a year old and we have plenty of room now at 15 months. I'm expecting it to last past 18 mo. This bag is definitely warm and soft which is great for the winter. But it may be too hot in the summertime unless you keep your house fairly cool. It's been washed a number of times and there isn't much of a sign of wear, although it isn't quite as soft as those first few weeks we used it. It is expensive, but if you use it most nights and through the colder months, it's probably worth it. The quality and softness of material are a step above Halo and some of the other bags in that price range.

The best sleep sack, hands down!
I randomly found our first Gunapod at a thrift store and bought it simply because I liked how soft it was. My daughter was 3 months old and had plenty of room to grow into it (I had purchased a size small). She's now almost a year old and we're using a size medium. This is seriously the best sleep sack ever! Think of a super soft cozy microfiber blanket, and that's basically what this is... with snaps and zippers! We love the shoulder snaps, as they make taking it off so easy. I anticipate we'll use the lower zipper once she starts walking. And it's a quality product... she wore the small almost every single night for nearly 7 months, with regular washes, and it's still super soft and like new! I can't say enough good things about this pod, I'm so happy we have it!

Comfortable versatile sleeper easy to get on and off even when she’s already asleep
She has several sleep-sacks to choose from each night, Gunapod is our first choice because 1) easy to get on at the beginning of the night with zippers and snaps in all of the right places, no pulling on arms or materials needed it zips open in several places and then zips closed around the arms legs and trunk, can even get it on after she’s already sleeping without waking her 2) easy to get off in the morning for same reason, though we often leave her in it for the first few hours, yes it’s comfortable for sleeping or for playtime especially good on a cold morning she even wears it for short walks outside sometimes (under 5-6 minutes) 3) quality materials zippers and snaps have held up for nearly daily wear and washings over the last several months no fade or shrinkage. We own two of these now and will definitely consider Gunapod again when she sizes up.

Love these sleep sacks, but this one arrived broken
This is our absolute favorite sleep sack. We had one and ordered a second one, but it arrived with a broken zipper :( Disappointing because the zippers are actually very good quality. Thick plastic teeth and large pulls make them easy to use. The fabric is a very soft furry fleece that my daughter loves to pet. It has multiple ways to put it on or access baby. We just use the main front zipper and are still very pleased. We will be buying the lighter weight version in the spring. The sizing is generous. Our 6 month old is very comfy in the 0-9 month size. We will be returning the defective sack and ordering another one.

Good
Everything about this sleep sack rules except for one thing... the zippers. They arnt smooth they snag on the fabric every night. So annoying but it doesn’t outweigh the pros:Warm as hell, Roomy, cozy, soft, easy to wash.On on either thing that annoying is the three domes on each shoulder. I will continue to use it because my son loves it and it was only 40 bucks

Lay it in the crib open and do up without waking baby!
This is my favorite of all the sleepy sacks that we have. You can tell a parent designed it. Because it unzips from right to left and has snaps at the shoulders you can lay it open in the crib an then place a sleeping child on top and close the whole thing up without having to move the child and risk waking them. The 2 additional zips going from left to right and right to left means that you can also open it and fold the bottom half up on to the child's chest for diaper changes. Finally the front zip allows older children to step out easily. It's soft and washes well and is just fabulous.
